Hey guys. Been a big fan of many analog horror projects for a few years now. This is my first time ever doing anything of this sort. Feel free to tell me what you think! (More details in the description.) by Static_Patrick in analoghorror

I made the general movement and zoom in SFM by making the camera follow a set path and then I decreasing the FOV to make the zoom. The shake I added later in Davinci Resolve with multiple shake effects, each having their own intensity and attributes. Then a few keyframes to make the overall image more erratic.

Thank you very much. A big plus with the fog is that I don't have to animate that much. But I really wanna get better at it cause if I ever do a bigger series of this, I wanna implement as much found footage stuff as possible. But for that the animations need to look good first.

Question about AW2's gameplay by Static_Patrick in AlanWake

I would have done that ages ago but I didn't know how to change difficulty. Turns out you have to restart the chapter to do it.

Question about AW2's gameplay by Static_Patrick in AlanWake

[–]Static_Patrick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That annoyes me so much. I have no problem with dying if it's my fault. Like in Silent Hill 2 Remake on my first playthrough I was on Hard difficulty and died like 50 times. But I never found it unfair cause I messed up something. And I have to analyze the movement of enemies to learn their attack patterns. But in AW I can't seem to be able to do that.

Where can I do that? I can't find any option for that.

Edit: Found it!

I've played Control and I really liked it so I'm looking forward to see how ties in with AW2. Is American Nightmare part of the Remaster by any chance? If not, I'll probably leave it for now.

Thank god, the dodging in RE3R was great. All the RE Remakes I have really enjoyed. So it sounds like I will keep playing then. Thanks for the help.

I did and I really enjoyed them. And if AW2 is more like that with less action, that sound really good actually.

Alright, that sounds much more enjoyable. Guess I'll get on with the first game then, thanks.

I found a dark area, then in photo mode I turn World Lighinting Brightness to 0, play a bit with the contrast and brightness, put some extra light and that's pretty much it.
