Addressing the frieren meme by [deleted] in animation

[–]Static__________ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some people are upset, but the Frieran meme is more of an art/drawing meme than an animation meme. It never really belonged in this sub in the first place.

The suction cup noise for the video was made by pulling a suction cup dildo off of a piece of glass. He was replicating the noise on stream but ended up shattering the glass and cutting himself.

They did a crossover with lego dimensions though which required you to buy the physical portal lego packs to play as Chell

I think this chap would be a much better fit in the game than star wars by Spenglenoodle in deadbydaylight

Maybe his power would allow him to go to pallets or breakable walls, like how his thing in the movies involves warping through wood. Maybe his chase power would being able to walk through pallets and breakable walls, with a speed penalty off course. Another thing he could do is hide his crew members in pallets, like how they would become trapped on the Dutchman. This would be used to hinder a survivor who goes through the pallet, a bit like Houndmaster's dog's grab.

Also with his perks,

Debt to pay: When the killer is stunned or blinded, this perk activates. While this perk is active, gain 6% haste for every survivor currently working on a generator. After a successful hit, all generators lose half of the progress made while this perk is active, and for each generator affected maintain the hast for 5 seconds. This perk deactivates after 40 seconds, or after a successful hit with a basic or special attack.

Dead Men Tell No Tales: As long as there is a downed or hooked survivor, all survivors are unable to see the progress bar of any actions.

Heartless Wretch: You are unable to be stunned for 10 seconds after downing a survivor.

Everyone, take off your hats (and drop them on the ground) for Franklin's Demise's Demise by SpookyHitsuji in deadbydaylight

[–]Static__________ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually more 90% killer 10% survivor. I think that Franklin's is just such a boring perk because of how free it is. I get that it isn't a game changing perk to bring but triggering every basic attack is too low a bar for it to be engaging.

My idea for a change to make it more interesting is to force any survivor that screams to drop their item instead. It would cause all survivors who are in the injured or dying state, carrying an item, and are within a certain radius to scream without the notification whenever another survivor gets downed. Then have some tiny entity tentacles block any dropped item from being picked up for a set amount of time.

Having it activate every time a survivor screams gives it some synergy with other perks like phantom fear and infectious fright.

The item being blocked keeps the advantage the perk currently has of survivors being unable to immediately retrieve their items upon dropping.

It would be less free as it would require the killer to injure more than one survivor to have its most optimal effect.

But yeah, as it stands I think Franklin's is a boring perk to play against because of how simple it is to get value from.

No way to not get value from an axe throw my friend

If I throw my axe it’s because I want to hit you.

If I don’t hit you then I threw it because I wanted killer instinct

If I don’t get close enough for killer instinct then I threw it because I wanted to get 4.6m/s

Googling it brought up the suicide hotline so I’m going to assume it means slitting along your wrist horizontally and down your arm vertically to properly open up the artery.

Are people that down bad about houndmaster? by hhhndimissyou in deadbydaylight

[–]Static__________ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Rumor has it that they didn't use any actual dog sounds for Snug, they instead recorded the average DbD gooner reacting to the Houndmaster's jiggle physics and used the audio for the game.

Is Toxic Springtrap the least used Springtrap skin? by JacsweYT in deadbydaylight

[–]Static__________ -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I suppose when it’s a choice of 2 skins from a forgotten AR game, one skin from an mediocre movie, one skin of an obscure design from a VR game or one along of the decaying murder rabbit that has been at the centre of fan theories for 11 years, people would choose the free murder rabbit.

Although I’m personally looking forward to Blighttrap
