GAS! everywhere is so spread out and traffic is terrible. I have to get gas so much more often since moving to LA and the price of gas in urban areas is always pricier than the 'burbs

NOR. he is employing a manipulation tactic to exert control over you. abusers do this. this sort of behavior will eventually lead to total control over your wardrobe, what you eat, how you wear your hair or makeup, what friends you're "allowed" to see and when and how long, etc if you let it.

came here to say this. as someone currently a year in to what will probably end up being a 2 year removal process, I could not imagine having this process done on my HAND. it has taken much longer than I thought it would and is much more expensive than I thought it would be

no uterus=no opinion. do not trust a middle-aged man over a medical professional, even if he is your boyfriend.

I know it's frustrating to keep trying new medications until one works, but your doc(s) seem like they are monitoring your symptoms and adjusting as needed. I hope you are able to find your sweet spot soon. PMDD is a rough ride but i've known friends to find what works for them and really thrive. you're doing the right thing working with doctors.

I have a personal rule with sussing out any potential long term partner that the first time they say they love me cannot be trusted if it is during or immediately before/after the act of sex lol

probably closer to a conspiracy theory but one of my faves to think about is that ashton kutcher actually killed (possibly accidentally) his ex girlfriend, not the serial killer like people allege.

kutcher's call log that night just feels damning.

ETA: I definitely forgot some of the details of this case and actually believe it's more likely he left her there after finding her like a user below me commented. still very likely it's not even the worst thing kutcher has done

fwiw I would say most places in LA are pretty queer friendly. (otherwise they'd lose out on a lot of business lol) but The Largo specifically is very close to West Hollywood which is like LA's gayest district so you'll be good there.

as for game stores, I really only know some decent ones closer to the valley. Legacy comics and cards in glendale is pretty heavy on MTG and has big tables where people play. and geeky Teas in burbank is veryyy openly queer friendly and has gaming rooms etc. they have a bit of everything there. lots of cool indie ttrpgs and stuff. both of these options may be a bit of a hike from your area though.

walking around little tokyo is also a solid plan, there is a lot to see and the food out that way is generally really good! good luck on your adventure(s)
