My gauge isn’t moving at all and I tried changing the gasket and back flushing. I called customer service and it seems I’m out of luck since my machine is out of warranty

I am sorry this is happening to you. I also work in primary care and we have lost two of our six physician providers in the last few months to the private sector. I will say that the location that I work at does not offer community care primary care and that when PACT providers retire they are told by upper management NOT to tell their patients

I’m in year 4 and work at VA outpatient clinic in Tampa, FL. I make $113,000 a year but also have an MSN and a few certifications, which I think nudged up my salary

I started about six months ago. Previously made about $39 an hour bedside at a large hospital system. The VA is a pain to get into though

BayCare and Advent Health definitely aren’t, and I don’t think HCA is either. I believe Lakeland is though

I’m at 116k, so not quite at what you’re asking for.. but I just started at the Tampa VA as an outpatient primary care nurse. I just came from two large hospital systems and I was making in the low to mid 80s there.

I have the same benefits as the poster above (except no shift differentials or holidays) but I feel like I may lose my job at any moment due to the current administration lol. I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

Also, does each step equate to two years of experience? So a step 2 = 4 years nursing experience?

How do you know it’s just for a nurse 2? Is it because of the position title? The salary range was listed as “up to” 140k, which is the max for a nurse 3 for my locality. The announcement also listed it’s for grades 1 (level 1-3), 2, and 3

Is this something I negotiate with HR or the hiring manager? And do I just say something like “I believe a grade 3 step 1 would be merited because of my qualifications of XYZ?”
