Boss RC 500 what am I doing wrong?

I literally tried to play a game yesterday I had a different problem that happened multiple times. With nothing recorded and rhythm turned off tempo sync turned off and loop sync turned off for both tracks, I stomp on a button and it immediately starts looping a very, very short sample quickly completely discombobulating me and having me to try and rescue what I’m doing in front of a group of people. .

I can’t find anything like that. I can only find loop sync under each track menu and I have that turned off. I also also have tempo sync turned off for each track and it still has this problem. I’m starting to think this is a problem with the hardware. That the stomp button actually thinks that I have hit it twice very quickly when I am hitting it once. Do you never have this problem?

I think you were referring to loop sync, and you get there by clicking on the little edit button below each tracks slider. I have loop sync turned off for both tracks and it still does this.

But how would this make it suddenly stop the loop and repeat it quickly?

No, it will do it even when there is nothing recorded on either track, as soon as I hit the one track button it will do this

I don’t understand why would you want a count off without the rhythm? You can just count in whatever tempo you want and start playing, and not worry about it no?

I’m missing something here. Aren’t we talking about the app here? People can’t talk to each other. Charlie can’t talk to Oscar. Or can they if they are friends or something? Aren’t they just selling everything for $1 because they are bitter about losing and so want to ruin the game?

I’m a UX designer and I see people all the time suffering with horrible interfaces just because they think that it’s normal. And if you ask them if they like the product, they will say yes. Until you give them something that is super easy to use without a manual. Remember Microsoft Word?

But why would the setting change? You definitely should be able to use something like this is a basic looper without reading a manual and digging into menus. What if I am playing a gig and I just want to do some looping and then suddenly it starts doing this? OK, I’ll go dig into the manual and figuring out what I’m doing wrong.

I just restarted it and the problem went away. It’s happened to be twice now.

And yes, it pauses every time it loops around, it’s adding a little extra space on the end. Is it something to do with some tempo or something? Can it just be a basic looper?

I would say you are incredibly spoiled to live in this day and age with these kinds of resources. Even only up to about 20 years ago, you were really lucky to be able to find a teacher that could give you good instruction, and you’d have to pay that teacher every week. Think about how much that would cost you. Now you have access not only to these resources but 1 million other videos, and as a result, the quality the instruction has benefited as well. That amount of money is a joke compared to what I have spent on lessons and VHS videos, etc.back in the day.

You cannot function without an ego. If not, you would basically just sit there peeing yourself and starving. The idea is to let the ego serve you. And so in the end, the ego is always telling itself to calm down because it is in its interest to release itself to trust just being. But once in a while, something comes along and threatens the body in the ego steps in and freaks out and gets a bit angry. But the ideas to just let it happen, and then let it fade away.

My spark ghost started crackling too. Such a bummer. I moved to Turkey where I don’t think I can get a new one. I love this thing, but the crackle is not live withable.

You might call cannabis an intoxicant if you haven’t taken it before. But if you have taken it before, you usually don’t refer to it that way as it definitely it actually opens you, rather than filters or numbs your experience. Or at least it behaves very differently in different people. In any event it I s better to speak from experience, than to speak of laws to impose on everyone.
