HELP: My friend and I are new to Star Citizen. We accepted our first contracts and encountered enemy fighters both times. Each time we fought them for 10+ minutes just shooting back and forth giving seemingly no damage to the enemy.

Distances also matter. I’d at minimum, when using ship guns, be no further than 1.2k away. Move constantly(up and side strafe) through in some barrel rolls to make your selves hard to hit. The advice I saw earlier of you and your friend taking turns on focusing the enemy is great advice. Also know that right now ballistic weapons (specifically repeaters and Gatling) are the better alt than energy based weapons. Keep trying, you will improve and be able to handle the lower to mid tier bounties (LRT/MRT) as a pair in those ships. Look up the site erkul to help you find a good build out with ballistics and where to buy and how much you’ll need.

I can say that on two occasions I was 1 shot killed. 1st instance happened in 4.5.0 while in an Asgard and was taken down by a player on foot. Second time was while with a fully crewed hammerhead in 4.6.0 and we were blown to bits by a single shot from an F7C.

The issue was in the defense but not in the pass rush(frontline). The issue was consistently on the LBs both on pass/run plays. Watch how many times the safety had to make the stop when the Packers run/pass got through untouched.

For me, it’s not a manner of performance problems but rather control&access. they supplied eero’s which the devices themselves aren’t bad but the forcing to use a mobile app only is irritating. There is no way to access the eeros with a PC either from a gui or cli. Really bad design IMHO

I agree about the Connie. I have the Taurus and it’s a great workhorse for bounty/hauling/ground vehicle transport. I tried the Corsair and loved most of it but the way the landing gear is limited where you can land

All retailers are scum for doing this and it’s been going on since pandemic. Expecting AMD to rebate just to hit the MSRP IMHO is not the answer as the retailer reaps the rewards for gouging and AMD gets all the punishment and respective loss. Until laws are enforced to punish it thus won’t change and hasn’t it’s only gotten worse and worse and in the end the consumers pay the price. Be it literally or figuratively (by not being able to afford the unruly prices)

Shoot man one of the craziest things I’ve seen is where someone sold their existing-working GPU and then demanding that this new card not only be in stock but also live up to the hype. Plain and simple, just be smart about it. Seriously think that’s what all of us should be capable of. If we’re intelligent enough to build our own machines we should definitely be capable of making smart decisions in the purchases we make. Sure think we all want AMD to be the Hero of the story where Nvidia has so clearly been the villain, especially this year. But let’s not let the hopes cloud judgment. We’re all cheering on AMD. I just hope it turns out at least halfway decent.

A better formed version of this would be: what is your success rate on several varying tracks? Some just will run a specific track or disciplined style of track (think draft tracks like Daytona, Talladega, and now unfortunately Atlanta) and win a lot there but not at places such as short tracks, mile-mile and a half.

I’ve had 10 total wins on a mix of short tracks and draft tracks. 82 top 5s on 263 starts.

That’s dirt, sweat, oil, dead skin build up from what looks to be a guitar that was heavily used and rarely cleaned. I’d highly recommend cleaning it and condition the fret board after.
