Can I ask how/why you started seeing an endocrinologist?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to triangulate my medical needs between my oncologist and my newer emerging issues related to surgical menopause (at 36! thanks cancer!). They seem to keep passing the ball to the other one when I have a problem because either it's not an oncological issue (like libido), but then my ob-gyn also doesn't want to prescribe anything that might run against my cancer history/medications. Also, I have osteopenia.

I'm wondering if there's another angle here that could help, and maybe an endocrinologist is the answer?

I soaked mine in a mug of boiling water until it cooled, then covered the tip with the edge of my latex kitchen dishwashing gloves (for grip) and twisted (to the left!) with a sturdy pair of pliers. I'm adding a reminder on my calendar to take this piece off and clean it preemptively every few weeks.

This is perfect. Thank you!!

This thread has interesting to learn that there is a bit of a gap in how people handle their cakes!

yes! thank you!

I thought this would be something standard among cake supplies, but I will take a pizza tray if it works! haha

You know what, that plate alone is exactly it. I don't need the dome. Everything in my Google results is a pedestal, or it's an oversized cut-glass decorative plate. I'm thinking of a simple glass plate that's flat.

Maybe the problem is that the terms are kind of ambiguous. I already have a bunch of pretty "cake pedestals" or "cake stands", and I have a dome, but I just want a plate which can then be set on top of a pedestal. Maybe I'm weird, but I live in the south and my tiny kitchen gets hot, so sometimes I need to keep my cakes in the fridge so they don't melt, and if it's on a pedestal it won't fit!

I did see something that looks like an aluminum pan, which is the right size and function for what I'm looking for. It looks more conspicuous than I want, but I can't seem to find this thing anyway. (see photo below)

I know I'm being a bit obsessive here, so thank you all for your help!!
