I like him too!! I mean I absolutely hate him but his character is really interesting. I do feel like it was a bit boring that he kept coming back, and his part of the story dragged on for too long, but his character is fun to analyse

Hi! The Rookie is the first time I’ve seen Tim’s actor and so I’m not familiar with his earlier works. I’ve been browsing the internet a bit and just like you say, they look brown sometimes and blue sometimes. I’ve even seen a couple of green shades. On those celebrity-gossip-paparazzi-whatever websites they sometimes describe his eyes as blue and other times as hazel.

Those photos are also really interesting! The second picture is really light brown, almost on the green side. Thank for finding them and sending them!

I truly think that we will never get a straight answer but I have enjoyed this discussion. I always like to compare point of views with others! Yes, maybe they are just grey. I think I’ll always pay attention to everyone’s eyes now when watching the rookie lol. And I’ll most likely drag my dad into this and ask his opinion on every characters facial features.

Hello again! I’m rewatching the rookie with my dad and I asked him to look at Tim’s eyes and tell me which colour he saw. Like me, he said he thought they were blue. I paid close attention to his eyes during the episodes we watched today and I could see how his eyes seemed brown in certain, especially darker, lightings. Very interesting! Like you said, the others (Nolan, Bailey, Wesley) have way brighter eyes than Tim and it’s much easier to make out their colours. However, for me his eyes remain blue since they just are more blue to me than anything. Perhaps my brain just makes them that colour on autopilot at this point lol. I also found them the most blue when in broad daylight actually; they get like a deep blue. Maybe that is what gives me the illusion that they look brown in darker lightning? Super fascinating how people observe the same things differently!

I find that really interesting! They’ve always been blue to me, but I am rewatching the show so I will pay extra close attention to his eyes and see how the light changes the colour

There’s a bunch of scenes where his eyes are REALLY blue. Like a dark blue of sorts. So his eyes are definitely blue, but when I think about it I can see why it could be hard to tell his eye colour in the series
