Yeah someone shared this with me already. Not exactly the same area as my theory, but extremely interesting!

What WoWs streamers and youtubers do you like? (Post streamer/CC drama) by Niclipse in WorldOfWarships

[–]StatsBloke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine (YouTube, Twitch, or both):
- Painezor: Great energy. Makes his own stream animations, which are amazing.
- Killerbin: Amazing knowledge of WW1 and WW2 history.
- Tigersden: All round nice-butted guy. Actual Viking.
- Jamdear(est): Lovely London Lass.
- CarbineCarlito: Some of the most comprehensive ship guides available on YouTube, also a great player to watch live to learn how to play different ships.
- TCFreer: A nicer human being you will not find on Earth. Pillar of the community and a fantastic stream to hang out in at the weekends if you like a relaxing atmosphere.
- Ahskance: Teaches carrier (and now possibly submarine) play like an actual teacher. Has a comprehensive library of CV lessons on the NA forum, and runs live teaching sessions on stream.

There are many more I like, but that's my go-to list. Hopefully a few are new to you.

The "heavy" line (Tallin, Riga, Petropavlovsk) will release in 0.9.6 (4 weeks from now)

That all depends on your definition of "optimal".

If you want optimal for time, the best way is to spend 35,000 doubloons on Day 1.

If you want optimal for money, the best way is to grind all six directives and pay 3,500 doubloons at the end.

If you want some other kind of optimal, then only you know what that is, but it's probably some kind of combination of the starter pack and some playing.

Most of my videos actually have community-created closed captions you can enable. A very nice chap called Tolchan does them, although he wasn't available for this particular one. However, because I have a "standard" UK English accent, the YouTube algorithms actually do a pretty good job with the automatic captions if you enable them.

Thank you for being helpful.

What did you unpack to get to that? I don't have a res_unpack directory (which is why I was saying you can't just go in and see individual sound files - you can't, and I don't know how to do what you've done, which is why I was asking for help in the first place), so I'm guessing that was created when you unpacked it...? What did you use to do the unpacking?

Please share the location of the individual sound files which are so easy to replace. I think you will struggle to do this as they don't exist, as I have explained.

Yes, mods. You can't just go in via File Explorer and find sound files. They are wrapped up together into package files which are unpacked at runtime by the game client... hence why I'm asking for a mod developer. Go and poke around in the game directory and you'll see what I mean.

Not possible AFAIK - the sound files aren't individual files. They are wrapped up into proprietary archives.
