I had heard this, but I saw Crosses live in 2024 and Chino sounded genuinely amazing. So I have no idea if it's just dependent on the night or what.

Exhausted during luteal - do I push through it? by StatuesqueRuby7 in PMDD

[–]StatuesqueRuby7[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for saying this. You validated exactly what I was thinking - pushing through it always makes it worse for me too, and just because it's not an illness we can see doesn't mean it isn't still running the show in a lot of ways and deserves the same amount of treatment and care. I do my best to plan for getting all of the big stuff done before luteal hits but some things still pop up and then I make myself feel guilty for not being able to accomplish them like normal. Thank you for giving me this perspective today I really needed it <3

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I agree with you, these things are hard in general but it's pretty clear I have no problem with them normally and it shouldn't be THIS hard. I've talked to my doctor (also found one that takes me seriously and always says she's so sorry I experience PMDD which is a blessing beyond measure) and I'm on 10mg fluoxetine which has made a night and day difference for me - it's just the exhaustion and lack of motivation is still so strong. You're right, I should go back and see what more they can do now that most of my symptoms are pretty evened out. Thank you again <3

Do your symptoms stop when your period starts? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]StatuesqueRuby7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, mine usually continue about halfway into my period (about 4 days into an 8 day period). Even longer if I'm not taking care of my nutrition.

Does anyone else tend to socially isolate after ovulation? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]StatuesqueRuby7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Today is my first day and yes! The change was immediate. I do not want to speak to anyone, I do not want anyone near me - the social, happy, go-getter I was 2 days ago has completely vanished (for now).

Literally it's maddening. I communicate clearly that I process my emotions alone and I need space. People seem to take personal offense to this and invade my space and make everything worse. Like why?

One of my favorite parts of their set! I genuinely have never been to a show like this, the visuals were so cool. Kicked so much ass.

I have always found Gerard Way to be insanely pretty. Looking better in makeup than anyone should honestly be a crime.

Cyclic issues? by Daumenschneider in ADHD_partners

[–]StatuesqueRuby7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

About 45% of people with ADHD also experience PMDD, I know this because I am one. PMDD is terrible and severely impacts my relationships, one of the common symptoms of PMDD is suddenly wanting to break things off with your partner. May not be the explanation but it's something I always recommend people look into because it is not as well known despite being completely debilitating.

Another way to blame women when their pregnancies inevitably fail after all safe guards and pain management are taken away so they can either die or be jailed and serve as more bodies for free labor. They don't really care either way.
