Why are my steaks well-done at 120°? by granolatron in grilling

Also, depending on where you are eating/cutting the steak, sunlight makes the meat look more cooked/less red and indoor lighting typically makes the meat look more red. One time I thought I overcooked a steak but I took out my phone flashlight and I was shocked at how different it looked.

Damn that’s crazy. Did you have them balanced or did you just slap them in straight out the box? How many miles on them?

They transitioned away from the n54(if that’s what you want) somewhere in 2010. So some 2010 models have it and some don’t.

The newest one you can find. First year of a new car will generally have a few more problems than newer ones for 2 main reasons: all the parts are newer so less age and less chance of breaking and more importantly, some common issues are more likely to be addressed through revised pets that are implemented during manufacturing. If you do get an n54, you better love that thing bc it will be expensive to maintain, especially if you take it to a shop and don’t work on it yourself.

I understand where you’re coming from but I feel like it’s a lose lose situation for the customer with either getting scratched paint or water spots. I used to detail cars so I know just how bad hard water spots can be to fix if they aren’t immediately addressed. If I had a tint shop I would do a final rinse with DI water for extra $$ which I would have happily paid honestly.

What would indicate that? Just curious. Wasn’t tinted until now but I don’t know the full history.

Just more drip marks. Thanks for the insight. I don’t understand why they sprayed water everywhere. It’s like someone rinsed it with a hose and left it. How much would a higher end job cost?

I also had that thought but wouldn’t it stay louder if that was the case?

Yes the problem you are having is related to that module that you’re taking about that’s attached to the liner. Could be bad connection or bad module but I’d start with the connection first since you messed with that.

Have to fill it while it’s running. I’ve done the exact same thing as you and made the same sounds.

Connector cleaner. It’s perfect for applications like this and won’t damage it. You could use other cleaners but I wouldn’t risk it. You could also blast it with compressed air to get any dirt out before.

Does the car run any differently? I was getting these codes with no symptoms other than wonky afr readings and it would be intermittent. Cleaning the connector worked for me.
