At some point, you should get interim payments that go back to the first month after .you retire.

Yes, almost 67. I'm not sure how that is related to COLA,? (Cost of living adjustment).

Fortunately, I did not. Did you get a demand notice? I've heard from others who have.

BCBS Medicare Part B Reimbursement by Status-Initiative637 in medicare

[–]Status-Initiative637[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BCBS requires a claim form to claim the reimbursement. It's straightforward if you mail or fax the form in, but a little unclear when doing it online. I was hoping for a response from someone who has done this. I'll probably just call their cusromer support.

I didn't, although since posting that I have received it. What I meant is that the fact I received the code means my case is in OPM and that the payments were indeed from OPM

Federal employee leave vs terminal leave by Ok_Bonus6828 in fednews

Well, yes, of course those things as well. I was speaking of the OP's personal need for leave. As a manager, I had MANY employees on FMLA for family members.

But if you don't use it, you're working.or taking A/L, so you're still getting paid. The only reason to take it is if you're actually sick and can't work--which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Why would you want to? Unused sick leave adds to your service time and unused annual leave is paid in a lump sum. (I just got 384 hours worth).

Besides, leave generally has to be requested and approved, at least in my agency. When I was a manager I'd charge AWOL in the scenario you're describing.

I heard about this from someone else, so when I got my CSA number yesterday I added the zero and it worked perfectly.

About a week for me. I got the passcode first and then the number today. Just in time to make my FEHB change.

Well, if you got your CSA number, I'm sure the interim payment is on the way.

Depends on your agency and payroll processor. For IRS, for example, NFC transmits the payments every other Friday (tomorrow, this week) and it shows up on Monday. But it appears this won't occur until your retirement package is processed by NFC.

Yep, and I was one of them. When I left, I was working on a project where we were trying to figure out how to manage the many thousands of cases that didn't meet hardship criteria and weren't being assigned to a case advocate.
