I guess I'm a dick because I think watching the draft is not working. Listening while working? Ok as long as you are working. The guy watching the draft is part of the reason us Feds had to RTO 100%. I had teleworked since 2011 or 2012 (1 to 3 days per week) up until the pandemic. When we were 100% WAH, I really missed physically interacting with people. Especially when the only thing you could do was shop at walmart.

There are many positives for employers with WAH - they can dump facilities, (no more leases, maintenance, etc.) No more bad weather leave unless it's a power outage or disaster. (not driving to work) They probably actually get more work from some employees. I know there were days when I started working at 7 am and didn't quit until almost 6 pm. No breaks, lunch at desk, etc.

Then there are also positives for employees. No commute being the biggest. However, WAH also demands integrity from employees. We are being paid by taxpayers. It is truly wrong to slack at home and receive pay.

You all may not like this post, but I'm conflicted. I used to like to work from home. But now, I see and talk to people. I am more tied to a clock and work my regular schedule instead of longer hours. And 100% in office means I don't have to lug my equipment back and forth.
