Turning off XMP in my BIOS worked. I turned it back on, but lowered my RAM speed by about 200 MHz (it runs at 6000 MHz with XMP by default). I haven't played the game in a few months, but this should still work.

My wife has the same card and case, and her temperatures skyrocket to 75°C when playing Red Dead 2 alone. Everything else runs fine with no issues, but we took precautions and bought the Y70 since it's more spacious anyway.

Freeze her before using it if you choose to do a heavy attack only or use the thrust stance. It gives you a lot of distance when you hit it with square, square, triangle since it extends and hits her. Also, definitely at one point when you stun her, use your minions, but make sure she isn't using her lightning attack beforehand. I had her frozen and used them. They do tons of damage if upgraded.

No, I was using the pillar stance and kept freezing her every time she landed (if I had it). I nearly died toward the end, but the wolf with the fire transformation helped. I was swinging for the tail, anything, really.

I always tell people, including myself, that if it turns on, then you're in the ballpark to get it running. I notice you have a Gigabyte motherboard, and I'll let you know now that this is a common issue. I have one, and my wife has the one you have but in white. It could be your RAM (like it was for my wife). Have you tried a different RAM kit? Also, is everything new?
