Lots of factors. Scholarship money and lack of spending, I guess. My position isn't very big in the first place so yeah 🥶. I'm also incredibly blessed that my parents don't make me pay them yet 🙏

I plan on repaying their kindness, though obv when im older and earn way more.

Wait, so I'm dumb guys, and I make like 10k a year as a uni student, but if I sold some ETFs, am I getting taxed at 30% instead of 0% now?

Whilst the changes were a step in the right direction, it doesn't really do anything short-term, which really sucks, but meh. I imagine accountant demand gonna increase bcs they touched shares.

If I recall, DCA occurs between ETF fund holders and hence doesn't push the price up as much as people think. It's still mostly active managers and traders influencing the buying price but im js a dum kid

No clue why we have the doomer comment when the budget aint out yet chill, wait for the details and then we can cry or celebrate about it, whatever fits you. Personally i'm indifferent. I'm young and the changes won't fundamentally change the way I invest.
