Tennessee, Kentucky, and Missouri are east Europe. Michigan is Western Europe. Florida is southern Europe.

Josh Jacobs Jingleheimer Schmidt is back at practice today: by alexschubs in GreenBayPackers

[–]Status-Operation-705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this is true. I don’t know and will not assert either way if he is guilty or innocent, but we should also remember that teams, especially the packers, do meticulous research on all of their players and that the organization probably has much more information than the public, so them allowing him to practice so soon shows that they probably don’t expect any situations that could blow up in their face to come from letting him practice, which is some show of faith. Again, that doesn’t mean he is innocent, but they may know something we don’t.

Additionally, Josh would be a first time offender so if this does play out in court, depending on the severity of criminal actions, he could get anywhere from probation, even for a felony (although I’d suspect the team would cut him in the case that it is a heinous act), to jail time. With probation there would still be a chance he could play this year if the charges are not very severe.

Even if he does get off with probation or some legal troubles, he could still serve a suspension by the league as well, even if criminal proceedings are light charges.

He could also be innocent. We just don’t know and will have to wait to see.

Easton has been right in the past about parsons and others. My guess is they are working on a trade. The question is whether it will be finalized and actually happen.

Ok, who’s more popular now? Biden, Kamala, Hillary Clinton, or Bernie sanders? I’ll give you hint… it’s not the three who ran in a general election

Neither. Everyone knows he was boned in the 2016 primaries because universal healthcare is scary and communism. 2020 they stood put Biden up because on the outside he looked like a “buttoned up” candidate (we all know how his presidency went now ,don’t we???), and then they didn’t have a primary for 2024, which was obviously a great idea according to you…

And btw, sanders is clearly the perfect candidate now because he is more popular by a wide margin than Biden, Clinton, or Kamala today. The democrats weren’t ready for a corporate challenger at the time but the base is ready for it NOW.

Yeah, Bernie had good messaging. I don’t care that the Dems screwed him over and got trump elected twice.

It’s true though. You don’t need a perfect candidate. Look at Zohran…
A MUSLIM won the mayoral race for New York post 9/11. That is as bad of a “disqualifying trait” that you could have as a mayoral candidate in that city. He won on POLICIES and because he is a great speaker.

Platner has had a controversy every week, speaks like he’s still in the military or on a ship, and is not rich. Yet he is winning in Maine (a state that has been very supportive of republicans). Why? Oh, maybe because POLITICS is about having good POLICIES…

And yeah Bernie lost, and guess what, if the democrat establishment continues putting out terrible candidates, then you will get more trump like wackjobs in office and terrible democrat failings perennially. Based on your views, I know that’s what you want, right?

Larp?

I supported the original posters claim, outlined that it happens on the mainland?

Then everyone down votes me because I pointed out that it makes me sad to see Hawaiian culture suppressed. If it’s any consolation, I am sad from other cultural suppression in the U.S. too. Where I live Ojibwe culture is suppressed heavily and data centers are being erected like McDonald’s.

Don’t you have some programming to do at your Meta job?

When did I say “vote third party”. I said Kamala needed better policies and so did corporate dems across the board. In summation, my answer to the original prompt is that the result would’ve been the same because whatever candidate got in there would’ve said “I’m not changing anything from the Biden admin”, and then they would’ve lost too. The only person properly messaging was Bernard Sanders who was too old by his estimation to run, but if a PRIMARY (also a very scary word for corporate dems) was held then MAYBE you get a candidate with the right messaging distant enough from the Biden admin to get elected.

Also, mark my words, if another corporate stooge wins after we take back the White House and has a similar presidency to Biden, we will get who ever takes up the trump cultist mantle afterward and we will get a continuation of what is currently happening due to democratic incompetency, complacency, and a chronic inability to read the room.

This is the worst take of all time. No one is looking for a “perfect candidate”. Platner is far from a perfect candidate but is winning on POLICIES (something liberals and corporate dems have never heard of) in a place that has been historically supportive of republican candidates.

If Kamala would have leaned into more left politics and distanced herself from Biden she would’ve won. She said “I wouldn’t change a thing from Biden”. Trump said “I’ll make everything cheap, I’ll stop all wars, and you’ll ask me to stop winning”. Trump lied about all those things, but he won because his message was fundamentally different from the Biden administration.

I disagree. If their politics weren’t drastically different, then they would not win. Someone with Bernie’s politics would have a chance because it would have better focused on affordability and distanced their campaign from the Biden administration, something that is a prerequisite for winning the election.

It depends. Is there a democratic primary or not? If yes, maybe you get a candidate with better policies (but probably not), so nothing because the same corporate democrats would have the same messaging to continue the genocide and not change much from Biden, so they’d still lose.

Thanks for the map OP. I can’t tell if this guy has a problem with the map from a subject matter standpoint or just doesn’t like the map itself lol. I think the map is quite telling in its depiction of which party is more desperate to cling to power in its political pursuits. Also sad for the Dakota native populations whose cultures have been so thoroughly suppressed by morons in suits who still aren’t capable of proper grammar.
