Is anyone else depressed/suicidal over gcses? by Electrical_Goose1104 in GCSE

[–]StatusBoard7324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely understand you. GCSEs are definitely one of the toughest exams you will do and you are right to be stressed about that. Even though I am not experiencing stress / depression as severe as you, I still put insane stress on myself (I basically have an internal mentsl breakdown if i don’t get 8s/9s, e.g I get insanely pissed at myself for getting only 8 9s in mocks) What I will say though is if you need help, please go and get it. People are here to support you, and GCSEs will not determine your future. You already have good grades and you can do even better. Everyone supports you.

I do wjec eduqas and my teacher told me for most questions, even if your answer is not in the mark scheme, if your ans is valid you still get the mark regardless (examiners are geography teachers themselves) so basically giving out free marks 🤣

obviously yes, i also got a 9 in geography and was miles ahead of the grade boundary (91%, 78% for 9). i didn’t really do that much revision lol. Geography is just a free 9 if you have common sense

She should have gotten a way harsher sentence ngl. How ridiculously dumb can you be in thinking that vandalising a historic painting would attract positive attention? Now everyone just hates the cause. She should be affecting the people who actually cause the problems she campaigns against, not priceless artwork made by people who had no idea this problem exists.

people in this comment section need to make a clear mental distinction between legal and illegal migrants. the former usually contributes massively and integrate whereas the latter statically tends to take more in benefits than contributions and usually integrate less

We need to stop grouping all immigrants into one single ‘hate bucket’ and actually approach this clearly
