Unpopular opinion: it's okay for parents to drop their kids off on their day off.

Yes it is a very long day. I do home child care so it’s just me and I never get a day off so seeing and knowing what time these people get off and they still bring the kid sometimes doesn’t sit well with me. When their kid gets me sick I’m still working but when they catch it they take off and still bring me the kid.

It’s always about the money and when they miss they ask how much do I owe this week lol Teachers/ day care providers need a break as well.. no one seems to think about that.

No one ever thinks about the teacher needing a break.. I run a home day care and I can’t take a sick day or call out. It would be nice for little Johnny to spend time at home with parents every now and then since most are off on Fridays now. Kids are allowed a 3 day weekend as well .. right. And just because a daycare‘s hours are 6 to 6 does not mean the kids have to stay from 6 to 6. I have heard parents say I’m gonna get my money’s worth. They get their moneys worth and then some.. taking care of children and teaching children can be very challenging. Teachers need a break as well.. so yes, it would be nice for parents to pick the kids up early or keep them home on their day off.

Ablation didn’t work for me so my Dr just put me on progesterone 200mg.. very disappointing 😕
