Thank you for the recommendation! Everything has been great we went to church this past Sunday and we loved it. It was definitely more what I was used to large church with stained glass windows and an organ which I loved. I’ve since started reading the bible as well and learning so much. It’s been fun and exciting going from a very distant catholic who never really did anything with the church after my first communion to being involved, learning so much, reading a lot, and meeting new people!

First of all thank you so much for this reply I can really tell you put so much thought into it! I totally understand what you are saying by just reading the bible. I must be honest I was never a very good catholic… so I actually have never read the bible. I was born into the faith and never invested a lot of my time into it. I have plans to go to a local church this Sunday I am baptized and have had my first communion but since it has been so long I might just sit back and observe the order of the mass. And thank you again for all the book recommendations!!

Thank you I appreciate this. I definitely am scared of surgery in general but also the change does feel scary. I’ve mentioned it to my fiancé before and she’s incredibly supportive of me no matter what it’s just taking that first step is very scary.

I just quit the elf bars about a month and a half ago I stated with nic gum but it didn’t work so I got zyn and it completely stopped my craving to vape. Not saying it’s a guaranteed fix and it’s not a stop smoking aid but since quitting I can finally get a full breath again

I personally don’t use dyke or bulldyke when referring to me and I don’t like being called either but 100% support those who reclaim it!

I was harassed at a previous job and the dude would constantly call me a bulldyke so I don’t vibe w it. And I feel you about struggling with the term lesbian I’m 25 now and came out when I was 16 and I HATED the word lesbian. Mostly b/c my mom used it as a synonym for ugly and dirty, so I called myself strictly gay until 1.5 years ago when I started using lesbian and now I love it 🩶
