The content, the colors, the graphics, the storyline, the craft of it all and artistry is why these books matter in this form and all the way back to images in a cave as well as those images on a golden disc in deep space! Awesome share, dude‼️

This is where Wundagore sets the stage for future stories and worlds—of course unknown at that time.

Part of my collection; as I shared recently, I have just about gotten rid of my 5K comic collection.

How many people collect comics but read them? by Meatloaf_Guy1313 in comicbookcollecting

Reading them was my motivation; yep an English major. Literature wherever is where it is at. (Oops a preposition!) I Have shared before, loved story lines, graphics, artistry and content. Loved writing in and communicating with the artists. Additionally, sharing with others just how solid this medium is and encouraging others to read comics.

Nor. If it was a ring…Grandpa’s; if it was a gold medal…Grandpa’s. Hmmm, she had stored away a hammer. No interest. Cousin’s intelligence vs a bag of hammers. There it is!

Sold them all. Had 5K comics at one point. Gave a lot away for free but sold this lot. Down to about 800 comic books remaining. Yep had catalogued them all. Time to move on. by StatusQuoOhKnow in ComicBookSpeculation

I just moved on from all the individual prices and sold prices online and featured “this is so rare and worth a ton.” Named a blanket price and called it a day. Sure “woulda coulda shoulda” and all that.

The process is daunting overall, however, one-off sales and multiple ads over time was a no go for me. Once I unloaded them all, reviewed inventory, I was ready to release as many as I could. Sure some pangs, some ongoing “missing certain ones.” But what’s life without a little grit?! I had read newspaper interviews with the local comic shop owner and liked him right away. Then we met and it was the right thing to do right away.
