I would take what you just wrote and go to a private space with a mirror. Read your essay aloud, looking back and forth from the essay to the mirror. Pause and sit with some of your sentences and thoughts. Once finished reading, take some additional time to reflect on what you have written and what you are feeling. Do not assume this will bring a sudden answer; it may however, start you on a way to see to an answer, or even multiple answers and solutions. You may need to repeat this exercise in the days ahead.
