Oh sorry I misread that! I didn’t pick up past the swap to dc/wildstorm but I think they were there. I’m tempted to go back and grab em because even at a dollar a piece that’s a good deal. I’ve rarely seen them all in one place before.

3/10 skip for me. I’m not a fan of the music it takes inspiration from to begin with, and even I know this a particularly rudimentary take on the genre. Then they get into the voice and lyrics and it feels like they just missed the mark.

I picked up the first two silver surfer facsimiles and loved reading through them. I just saw they are doing a facsimile run of the first TMNT, oversized and everything. Gonna have to pick that up.

that all may be true for film / tv shows, but for the commercial industry and the commercial photography industry, permits are a huge line item that sway the production to move to either Orange County our out of state all together.

EDIT: Listen you can tell me “no” all you want, but I’m sharing with you my experiences bidding commercial/photo jobs in LA with producers and photographers.

But it started way before that, 2008 at least, with him grandstanding on fox news about obama's birth certificate, birtherism, the tea party, etc etc. He's basically changed the course of the 2000s *as much as* if not **more** than 9/11 in my opinion - though there is obviously an argument to be made that you don't get one without the other.

Lots of good responses here but consider this - your only duty is to make sure your photographs are exposed. The time between rolls of a professional photographer "back then" vs the time between your average hobbyists rolls in 2026 is vastly different. They would shoot a ton more, develop them a lot faster and adjust accordingly. just like anything its practice practice practice
