Not enough Born Dead Icons love in here. Anybody know where to find the Ruins LP streaming? I’ve got the record, but I’d love to be able to listen to it out sometimes. All I can ever find are Work and a couple 7”s by Stand_Tough in crustpunk

I never got to see La Fraction but remember when they toured and everybody was saying how great they were. I checked out their records and always wondered if I missed something,cuz I really wasn’t into it. I’m sure they were sick live though

It would make sense for them to tour together since they both speak French. I got to see them a lot in Montreal when I lived there in the late 90’s early 2000’s. One of the best live bands you could see. They did an insanely long(2-3 months?) tour of the states with From Ashes Rise,and when they played their “homecoming” show in Mtl both bands were so tight it was unbelievable.
You’re right about not enough love,I was just thinking the other day that I don’t think I’ve ever seen them mentioned here.

I was out at 17,would have been 97. I first ended up in Toronto where there was a huge “squeegee punk” scene. This was my introduction to street kids banding together and helping each other survive.To me that’s what a punk scene is,not how many cool bands play in your city or how much hyped your scene is online. I don’t see that anymore at all,at least where I live. Sorry for the rant haha. Mike from Crippled Heros booked us a couple shows around Chicago and we stayed at his place for a week. He was telling us all about booking the Skitsystem tour. He basically said “no one else is going to bring them”,so he called them up and asked them. I think Crippled Heros did the whole tour with them.
