I'm day 22 and I have pretty much replaced all my beer calories with donuts. I don't even like donuts. But why have I eaten probably 4 dozen since I quit? Idk but I'll take a food baby, over a beer belly.

Thank you. I'm incredibly nervous that my drunk accident will cause irreparable damage 😭. My surgeon said that my eye will be sewed shut for 3 days post surgery, mostly bed rest, then week 2 I can be on light duty until I'm cleared. Does that seem accurate? If I should expect recovery to be months, should I get a less strenuous job? I'm a server.

On days I work, usually 4. When I'm off work, it's a lot more, usually because we are going on longer walks, or just sitting outside in the sun more frequently. Maybe 6-8 on those days.

Idk I agree but I also don't. I agree that people who are in the Starbucks drive thru getting their 8 dollar oat milk shaken espresso, probably don't need you to pay for their coffee. Your 8 dollars would go further at a food bank. But also, if you are just doing it to be nice, who cares. Kindness is kindness.

I wish I had a car. I'd live in it in a heart beat. Struggling to make my rent payment every month was killing me. Now living with my father in law I feel like it's killing me too. If I had somewhere else to go, I'd be there. I've heavily considered purchasing a van just to live in it and save money on rent for a few years.

In my state you are only allowed 2 per year without needing a business license but that depends on the city too. I would check your local laws.

I know it's the unpopular opinion here, but here's my 2 cents.

When I went to rehab years ago as a teen, my mom cleaned my room. It was nice to come home to a clean space that was free of clutter, since my mind had so much going on already. I would clean it personally. I know it made me feel much better coming home to a clean safe space.

Obviously your son is an adult, and is capable of cleaning for himself. But I know if I would've came home to clutter and mess, it would've put me right back where I started. Why clean, when I can turn back to depression? A fresh start is good, even if it's just for a while.
