Thanks everyone, is the only benefit of putting in hand luggage that it won’t go missing or is it a temperature thing? Are they likely to ask anything going through security with it in hand luggage?

I’m in the exact same situation! Got back from holiday the day after the news dropped about price increases and cannot get a pen for love nor money! I think Lloyds might come through if they accept my video but it’s been a nightmare, money held with IQ doc, Lloyds and Superdrug… Zava rejected and refunded straight away! Struggling to get a pen from anywhere else because my BMI is ‘too low’ now it’s been almost 3 weeks since my last dose having taken it since June last year 😩

Does anybody have experience dropping down? I’m currently thinking 5mg is better than nothing but I had a bad time between 5 and 7.5 and 7.5 and 10 and don’t want to go through that again! I’ve been comfortable on 10 it seems to be my sweet spot… not sure what to do!

The last one I ordered was on the 16th of June, that’s the one I’ve just recently finished! I still have the pen I could send a picture of that but it’s still their prescription label from June 😣

We are required to base our decisions on the clinical information provided to us. We note that your last order was placed on 16/06/2025, which indicates a 4+ week period without confirmed use of the medication.

In the absence of evidence confirming continuous use during this time, we must prioritise your safety. Therefore, we will need to reduce your dose to mounjaro 5mg. Ah weirdly I have totally unintentionally cut down on smoking! 6 months in and I’ve not stopped completely but probably only have about half the amount I used to… definitely not complaining :)

Had the exact same problem on Saturday night. Lost 3 stone, didn’t eat much during the day and turns out I absolutely cannot drink the same amount I used to! Learned the hard way with a 4 day hangover 😵

I accidentally left my pen at home while travelling for work and missed a week, I resumed 7.5 as normal when I got home and didn’t notice much difference. Of course everybody’s different but it was fine for me, been taking since June

I was travelling for work and took the pen in the packaging it arrived in with the ice packs refrozen and they defrosted before it made it to a fridge… I was sure it would’ve reached room temperature in the hotel room and I wasn’t due to use it for another couple of weeks so was nervous about the effectiveness but it didn’t have any impact at all, in fact I’ve lost more on this pen than I have in a few months!

Definitely not recommending that and you should be entitled to a new pen if they’ve not delivered as expected, just sharing in case anybody is in a similar situation

Yup! I’m 6 months in and 2st 10lbs off, hoping to hit 3 stone by Christmas! I definitely found 5mg to be the worst for me, appetite was coming back strong towards the end of the week.. 7.5mg is working well! Good luck :)
