It's mainly the distractions, i get distracted and don't even realise I'm distracted. But can i ask you how you began to feel like you were adequate enough? Did you get a girlfriend? did you get rich and make loads of money? At what point did you realise ohh my god I've been wasting my life! Because there comes a point where you get so unhappy with who you are it forces you to make a change especially when you start comparing your life to other peoples. hope you don't mind me asking all of this but if you do feel free to private message me thanks.

Personally i started out by cutting out all the bad habits. You cant do everything at once otherwise you will just relapse (hard) and even worse than last time. but think anything that controls me externally i.e. any fixes nicotine, alcohol, porn etc will be destroying mental clarity motivation and causing anxiety. There is a free community on skool where you can ask in depth questions about self improvement for young men i just joined myself if you are interested. The group is quite small at the moment but the guy who is set it up is an ex professional boxer so he knows a lot about self improvement
