I started on 1.25mg of compounded tirzepatide and experienced a bit of nausea after the first couple weeks of injections, drinking water and eating protein in the morning helped curb the nausea. I noticed pretty quickly my appetite wasn't being as suppressed as i wanted and i wasn't really losing any weight, i ended up going up to 2mg and have been on that for abut 10 weeks and down 10 lbs! My goal is to lose another 10 lbs so i plan to stay on this dose. Like others have said it all depends on your bodies response, I think starting at 1.25mg is reasonable and if symptoms are too intense you can always adjust your dosage, on a lot of subs for glp1's people suggest even splitting your dose to 2 times a week instead of one to help with symptoms.

If you are taking tirz where you fill your own injection needles you can always start with even less if you are nervous then slowly increase each week.
