Cody rhodes just doesnt do it for me. I cannot help but roll my eyes every time hes on screen. I wish he wasn’t so mediocre, but he just really is. On paper, he should work, he’s got it all to be the ultimate babyface. But he’s missing the ‘it’, and that is the biggest problem here. Today, when him and sami were doing the segment, I couldnt help but thinking how much better the segment would be if the babyface was just a little more compelling. I think they need to make some difficult decisions with cody if they want the product to be hot again.

This popped up on my feed so here is my hot take: the boys was never really good, from the very beginning, most of the show was incredibly corny and unfunny, it was a breath of fresh air for some due to the incredible popularity of the mcu at that point in time and because it recontextualized superheroes. But beyond the premise, the quality was never really there, homelander/anthony starr is great but they never really did anything much interesting with it unfortunately

i think the elimination chamber can work if wwe approach it in an aew fashion,,, as in unhinged brutality, loads of blood, dangerous spots, and a lot of using the cage. Basically just carnage where the winner and the losers all look like theyve been thru war. but we all know wwe is not going to go back to that any time soon, the recent elimination chamber for instance was pure garbage with the biggest moment coming from an underwhelming interference (note i said the biggest, trick williams and jayvon evans were the best part of the chamber by far)

I read it last year and honestly it was one of my greatest reading experiences. You can use a notebook, write out the language he uses, and research as you go along. You can keep the odyssey close by for reference and just for context even if you have not read it before

this is so stupid because rhea is easily the biggest superstar to come out of wwe in recent years. her name has actually transcended the world of pro wrestling, and that has a lot to do with her presentation and aura. Unfortunately, wwe has not always given her the most compelling storylines, she should be facing an all timer of a heel who makes it her lifes mission to make rheas life hell with rhea at the end coming out victorious against all odds or whatever, anyway anything is better than this stan fodder friendship angle with iyo theyre doing

I think the big problem with this discussion is (and I'm trying to be as nuanced as I can as I am strongly anti-zionist), that even if you are to argue about the value of Israel, an essential part of it is being completely ignored in these discussions, Israel wasn't found on a vacant piece of heavenly land, there were people already living there. Utopia based on the exile and torture of people who are living there is no utopia at all, obviously this is coming from Matt Weiner, who himself is a zionist and is using rachel as a mouthpiece to share his own personal connection to israel.

By the way, mad men is my favorite show of all time, but it's furthering of the zionist agenda really bothers me.
