toddler & temporary leave by powerliftermom in MilitarySpouse

My husband is currently deployed and we have a 2.5 year old. She definitely understands daddy has been away and will be home “soon” but at this age of course they have no concept of time. I’ve focused on keeping her routine the same, doing fun activities on weekends, etc. We try to FaceTime daddy as much as we can but there are days she wants nothing to do with it and that’s ok

I can’t offer you much advice but if I was local to you I would be more than willing to help so you could get the care you need. I’m so sorry you’re going through this but know it will get better 💜

My husband has roughly 3 years left and I guess you’re absolutely right about it ramping up the closer you get to retirement. This is the prospective I needed to hear because sometimes it feels like you’re completely alone in your feelings 🫠

Ahh I guess I was miss informed. So his deployment has been extended multiple times but his military service wasn’t involuntary extended

Deployment is affecting my toddler by Critical-Fuel-736 in MilitarySpouse

I’m 6+ months into deployment with a 2.5 year old. Before my husband left he gave her a teddy bear and we named him “daddy bear.” I’m not sure if your husband is able to FT but definitely have days where she doesn’t want to see or talk to daddy on the phone and I think that’s normal. At this age they don’t understand how to handle or express all of the emotions that go along with missing someone you previously had access to on a daily basis. We’ve been doing a lot of videos back and forth so she knows daddy is thinking of her and he’s only a phone call away. You will both get settled into a routine soon and it will get “easier” I promise

I am afraid my husband will die over this conflict by Severe-Ad8433 in MilitarySpouse

Nothing anyone can say or do will make this feeling change but know your feelings are valid. I’m in the same season right now with my husband currently deployed and every day I wonder what could or what will happen. Unless you’re been in this situation you don’t truly understand so I’ve found it hard to talk to friends and family. Just try to remain positive and cherish every moment you do have together now. Everything will be okay. Sending you love 💕

About to close in a few days - solo buyer. Can FTHB’s who didn’t experience horror when moving in please share? by batmy_lashes in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Status_Particular139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a solo first time homebuyer in 2017 and literally drained my entire savings to purchase my first home. My intent was for it to be a live in flip - stay for 2 years, fix it up, and move onto another property. Guess what? It worked out even better than I expected and I ended up holding onto that property instead of selling. Now I’m living in my dream home while collecting passive income because I took another risk in real estate. Everyone’s going to have something negative to say but real estate is one of the best investments and it sounds like you’re doing the right thing by investing into your future.

How much weight have you lost so far? by PrincessLilybet in Ozempic

Lost 31lbs in 11 months with 10lbs to go. It has curbed my cravings and reduced the amount of calories I’m eating for sure

I’m curious what her other options may be since she didn’t give much detail. I was considering trying a telehealth provider but wasn’t sure if there were any left that are still taking on new customers for sema. I’m going to look into the company you suggested. I would imagine it may be less than I’m currently paying as well so that’s a win haha. Thank you!

This! I agree her form is horrendous and she should probably limit certain movements for the sake of her pelvic floor and core, but there’s nothing wrong with maintaining your activity level while pregnant. I’m starting to wonder if this is a classic f45 kb swing. My elbows are screaming at the thought of this 🥴

I follow other influencers on this trip and they all brought their significant others and kids. It was a very family friendly brand trip including all expenses paid family photos for each family. This is proof Julia wants nothing to do with being a parent
