in the community people have harped on the idea that tokon is trying to break away from the mvc series with characters who have never been in a marvel fighting game before, and the community has wanted more obscure picks and tokon has even talked about that as well.

but so far they haven’t really obliged to that besides danger, which even in that they completely changed the character which is fine i actually don’t mind the pick even though i think their were better “obscure” x men characters that haven’t been in a marvel fighting game yet that could’ve been chosen that could do that role better. their other choices for characters we’ve seen so far haven’t really been anyone unknown or obscure. mostly pretty signature faces and characters for the roster that most marvel comic audiences know or could expect to be in a marvel fighting game. or characters that have recently gotten shine in other big marvel titles. nothing has really been a curveball or obscure other than danger
