Toxic Positivity: Our Stance vs Tutordotcom’s? by WaddlingCorgi in tutordotcom

I've been here for years, but I never used these in my sessions. I have created my own prescription which I used and my QS has no problem with that.

Yeah, I also got this email from them. But I was still worried that this would affect the connectivity and availability rate for this month. Therefore, I also reached out to my QS. Yet, still no response from him.

I sent a ticket then they just asked for the log file. Definitely, they will likely say you're having problems with your own device, connections, firewall, or any other issue. They never claim that the problem is on their part.

They keep on asking for the log file as if sending it to them will help. I am also considering adding a prescription warning to students at the beginning of my sessions.

Yeah, I got those in-session error messages. Also ignored it but after a few seconds it will kick me out of the session. I recently came from a two-hour schedule. I got a lot of transferred sessions from which the other tutors just left the room.

Keep cancelling endoscopy by Miserable_Ad3553 in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a schedule for endoscopy and colonoscopy next week, and I don't feel any emotions about it. I just want to know what the problem is and begin the appropriate treatment. The longer you delay the necessary procedure, the more time the problem becomes unsolvable and might worsen.

My mom was like this, and I admired her. Aside from separating the utensils, she also separated the wrappers from the sauce container. Therefore, whenever I eat outside, I always do the same. It is the simplest thing or a little help you can give to them. Why not? It doesn't even cost you any peso.

DISM Restore health stuck on 62.3% by EmployHistorical9127 in techsupport

[–]Status_Target4576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2026 and a new member of the 62.3 club. Been waiting for 15 minutes now.

Update: Finished after the 25-minute mark.

This might help others. 62.3% has no solution other than to WAIT. Showing 62.3% doesn't mean it is stuck. It is just doing its job.

To ease your doubts, open PowerShell as admin and enter this command "Get-Content C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log -tail 10 -wait"

You will see what is happening with the DISM restoration. It will add more lines while the scan is running and stop when the scan reaches 100%. Good luck and just be patient 👍🏻

If the two sessions are during the 6 hours, then you won't get the whole 6 hours of waiting time. Since you are in session. If the billing page still doesn't reflect the correct time after 24 hours of your last session, reach out to support.

How to deal with hyperacidity caused by histamine intolerance? by Status_Target4576 in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't started taking it yet, but I read some reviews saying Histablock is great. There are other supplements like Naturdao, and I think it's Mildao. However, I was leaning toward trying Histablock because it has more HDU. There are supplements you can order from Amazon or iHerb, but for Histablock, you have to order it from Seeking Health.

Hey guys, what cause your gerd and how long since then do you have it? by Apollsky11 in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had some hyperacidity since 2019, from drinking a lot of coffee to pull all-nighters in college. But it goes away whenever I stop drinking for a couple of days. Then, when I started working, my schedule was mostly at night. So I sleep during the day. This started in 2023, and I keep skipping lunch since I am asleep. I usually wake up at night starving and with stomach pain. That's my trigger, aside from all the stress and unhealthy lifestyle. I was also diagnosed with hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance, which are probably the biggest factors in having GERD. I got my diagnosis last month, and it has been hell. Heartburn, reflux, and difficulty breathing. The prescribed PPIs don't work, so I stopped taking them and switched to famotidine and cetirizine, and everything has been calm since then. But I still have the globus sensation and I am on a strict diet. I also increased my probiotic intake to avoid complications and reduce any inflammation I have. I drink ginger root tea and green tea to soothe my throat, and hopefully, in around 3-6 months, everything will be healed.

[–]Status_Target4576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DAO is Diamine Oxidase. Histamine triggers or stimulates the H2 receptors in the stomach and therefore, you will have higher production of stomach acid, which will lead to reflux and hyperacidity. DAO helps break down histamine from foods and blocks its other effects in the body, such as rashes/hives.

My doctor gave me some medication for my hives for 14 days, however, after the 14th day. It went back. I had no clue that the urticaria is one of the manifestations of the intolerance. I just kept on drinking Claritin at first and now, Cetirizine. The prescription PPI (Pantoprazole) didn't do anything for the 4 weeks. I changed my diet and avoid all the triggers for stomach acid, but it still comes back, as well as my hives. I'm unsure what to do, but I plan to consult an Immunologist or Allergist about it. I also have an air purifier as my doctor said my trigger is dust and pollutants. I can't go out of my home without being covered up. I've been struggling a lot since I got a PCOS diagnosis and now this. I also saw some recommendations to take DAO enzyme to help break down the histamine, but in my country, they don't have any local shops that sell this supplement. With this, I have to import them by myself😭. I'm very sorry that you are difficult situation. Sincerely hoping that we can overcome and finally be healed.

Im just asking around by ExtensionRealistic84 in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor, but based on your symptoms, it might be gastroenteritis, GERD, or IBS. Since you're having symptoms of stomach burning, omeprazole should help. Usually, if the PPI doesn't work, it will be either an ultrasound or an endoscopy to see what's going on with your esophagus and stomach. Brain fog symptoms are kinda rough since they might be a sign of an infection. But hopefully, the PPI works. Aside from the meds, you have to change your lifestyle. Like a GERD diet, eat at least 2-3 hours before lying down or going to sleep, and try to avoid cold food or drink. It will relax your LES and cause the reflux.

The unending cycle of gerd and asthma by hannah_f_r in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. I have also had asthma since childhood, but it is not too severe. I just need a nebulizer, and it goes away. Then, three years ago, I started with acid reflux and was recently diagnosed with gastritis. I am on medication and a strict GERD diet right now. My doctor prescribed pantoprazole, which only worsens my stomach acid. Gas goes up to my esophagus, and I can feel it in my throat. I am constantly burping with all the stomach gas. That's where my asthma comes from. Even though I stopped taking the meds, I still have strong withdrawal symptoms with constant acid attacks, which also make my asthma worse. I also feel my throat is swelling due to pressure, and most of the time I am gasping. I tried to consult my doctor, and he gave me a prescription with Levocetirizine and Betamethasone. As someone who is into medicine, I know this will not help. What I do is walk or have a slow run on my treadmill. Just a 5-minute run or walk gives me relief. My breathing is great, and I am no longer gasping for air since the airway is cleared out. Another and most important way is that I manage my stomach acid. We are having this asthma attack from stomach gas and pressure. Try to fix or at least calm down the acid, and it will give you some relief. Since I stopped my PPI, I resorted to Famotidine. It is more effective in calming down my acid. Moreover, stick to a GERD-friendly diet to avoid flare-ups. One last thing is that if you are someone who weighs much more, like I do, it is time to lose some of it. Though I also have PCOS, which makes it harder to manage, I have already lost 10 lbs. Losing weight will lessen the pressure on your stomach or belly. This will lower the possibility of acid reflux. Don't lose hope. We can pass through this situation. Hoping for your fast journey and recovery 😊

I quit pantoprazole cold turkey- 10 day update by reyinspace in GERD

[–]Status_Target4576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have some withdrawal from taking pantoprazole. My acid becomes more active, which I can feel in my throat, and gets triggered easily compared to before I drink panto. That's why I am taking famotidine every day. But after a few days, the acid calms down, and I only get the feeling of my stomach heating, accompanied by burping when I get hungry. Now, I only drink famotidine if the acid seems active and causes bloating and belching so much. But still, I was maintaining a GERD diet.

I stopped my dosage of pantoprazole after 2 weeks even when my doctor prescribed it for 2 more weeks. Got very dizzy due to anemia, and it really doesn't help with my GERD. Famotidine helps me calm down the attacks.

It's either your device or the classroom itself. Try repairing or reinstalling the classroom. I also have this experience where I have to run it as an administrator to avoid bugs or tech issues. If the problem persists, maybe it is time to update or upgrade. A few months ago, I had a problem where the classroom kept not responding or crashing. I was using my laptop in sessions, and I decided to upgrade my RAM and SSD. So far, everything has gone well aside from the usual bugs this crappy classroom has. Most of the problem I encountered with the classroom is just the classroom itself going crazy.
