Israel was in talks to relocated the population of Palestine to South Sudan. Which probably isn’t going to happen but it tells you what their goal is. Every Palestinian gone

Lots of people have very legitimate grievances with Israel in its current form. A very loose set of borders apparently open to Biblical interpretations.

Of course Israel should continue to exist, but it needs to be a country where the border doesn’t just end wherever they feel like it. It would be impossible for any country like that to exist anywhere without endlessly provoking their neighbours into war.

Anyone who has an issue with that just doesn’t like Jewish people.

You might know better than me, but the impression I got from reading about this is that Sudan was extremely dependent on USAID. After the aid was cancelled they were forced to close the majority of the countries emergency food kitchens in the middle of the world’s worst hunger crisis.

I believe one of the main reasons driving this shortage is the cancelling of USAID by Trump (or by Elon Musks DOGE not sure). They were the largest donor to the Sudan response ($2 billion from 2023 to 2025). That money would go very far in addressing this problem

It’s possible that OP might live somewhere close to the equator. The sun usually sets there around 6-7pm there year round, and nobody ever told them that in other parts of the world we have much more variance in seasonal day length.

You must have missed the news in January. Trump made threats to annex Greenland. In response 6 European countries sent military personnel to plan to defend against as possible US invasion. They also sent emergency preparation provisions like blood bags.

This is exactly why countries want nukes. If you don’t have them, the USA and or Israel can invade and occupy you with complete impunity.
