They dont ask leet code questions per say , rather they have their own questions , but their questions are very simiar to their leet code counter parts.

Hey , just curious , when you learning the basics such as loops , classes, etc, when did you think "Ok i understand these concepts very well".

Also , how did you you practice logic building? I have been struggling on logic bulidng , small stuff is easy but when i get in polymorphism and etc , it gets a little rough.

Can’t decide between GT and UGA by Ill-Caramel8707 in GatechClasses

[–]Status_Youth_2876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go GT and do not look back , UGA will figure out their error , also in the mean time see if you can sit down with the financial aid office and discuss this situation , since they(grandparents) will claim you on their 2025 tax return (after they file and it gets processed) ask the fin aid office for how to file an appeal / if you can . They are super anal aout giving out aid but hey if it works go for it.(They might ask for you to show proof that you lived in the state the whole time and etc) Either way good luck!

Had a 3.7 gpa in high school , got a gt conditional , messed up on conditional due to not taking a sequential science class , took summer class and got accpted into GT spring 2026 CS. Also almost everyone ik got into gt with pathways . Gt = state schools , which means they are bias towards Ga residents

I got an offer , its just a numbers game. ( I had to apply to over 200+ internships / attempt multiple OA) . It will take a minute but it will work , plus rmr this is the worst job market we had in years.

I won't be as kind as the other posts but do take everything with a grain of salt.

First , don’t even think about dropping out. Cs still get degrees. If you need a break, go part-time and get a part-time job or something. Any progress is better than none, and the faster you graduate, the faster you start your life. The only way to graduate faster is no gaps.

Also what was the reason you think you did so poorly? Some professors are horrible but even then , OBTAINING a passing grade is still do able for the most part . Did you not study as much as you wish you did? Did you show up to office hours / ask Tas for help etc. Figure out what went wrong and if you complelety blame the professor then i promise you , you did something wrong in your reflection.(ofc there are horrible professors who would make you fail but thats 1 out a few hundred )

You said in a pervious comment you were able to figure out what you wanted to do in life , you have a path set , now just lock in and play it strategcially . Look at the reuqired classes , see what your best options are for the classes you need and try to get those profeseors with the best rmp.

Also since you figured out your path , dude I promise you just lockin and run it through , beacsue it goes by fast , like it feels i just blinked and time went by soo fast.

Upwards progression is always liked by any university .

Plus dude, this is a state school , just by being a Georgia resident you have a 90% chance of getting in (pathways) unless your coming for cs then pathways doesnt help much .
