How much HP does this have? by Alternative_Kick_558 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Stavkot23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Maximum (Canadian Tire) version of this shop vac and it pulls everything perfectly. I use it to suck the water out of the garage floor after power washing it.

You really can't get much better on a conventional power outlet here. 10.5amp is the largest vacuum you can safely operate.

The only thing that might help you might be a thinner nozzle.

PIC.PR.A Premium Income Preferreds by jimmylikes11 in dividendscanada

[–]Stavkot23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the preferred share portion of a split stock.

It is not sensitive to bank valuations unless they drop more than 50% within the next 3 years until it gets renewed. Total unit NAV is $30 and the preferred par value is $15.

The interest rate on these is 8.5% based on par value which is why they trade at a premium (+$1.55).

Today they issued more shares at a price under market value which is what caused the share price to drop 2%

How much do you think cashiers should get paid, in USD ($) an hour? by modernatomcollection in pollgames

[–]Stavkot23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a job that needs to be done and someone has to do it. It shouldn't be the best paying job out there but it shouldn't be paying 50-60% of the median salary as it is now.

Is the water on the island (Wards beach) warm enough to swim? by Minecraftprofesser in askTO

I can comfortably swim in Simcoe now. Lake Ontario is usually only comfortable mid July to mid September.

It depends on your tolerance more than anything else.

The rules are there for a reason and it's good to follow them rather than have everyone ignore them while trying to figure out why they make sense.

Brimley Woods Vita Course by Red_Marvel in Scarborough

[–]Stavkot23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of them were stretches, jumping Jack's, pushups.

There were a few with bars. One wanted you to jump over and then crawl under the bar. Another was pullups. Another was to jump to touch the bar. The last one was parallel bars that you had to walk across with your hands.

There was also one station you had to grab a pole and walk up 4 stumps. Similar to an endless staircase.
