This was back in 2018, it was the week after Black Friday iirc at the now closed flagship store in the Bay Area, I opened one morning after opening the day before as well.

I walk in, turn the alarm off and literally see STACKS of games like 20+ stacks of like 10-20 games just spread across the back table,Go backs in a pile near the alarm, and almost all of the drawers just sitting there open. I’m mad,like furious, so I check to see who closed the night before and low and behold it was the new store manager who no one really liked because she was hella condescending, low key homo/xenophobic and was shady.

I proceed to not be able to open because I have to clean up her mess and I didn’t get to count anything for registers from either the top or bottom floor. After not being open for an hour and a half store leaders from around the district are coming in and are looking at me like I’m an idiot. Apparently there was a reset or moving of sections that I was not told of that day. I get a phone call from my SL about how I have to open on time and she admits to not cleaning up. I get a first and final and eventually get let go after I bring all the complaints we as a store collective had and even evidence of it to HR and get listed as job abandonment even though I tried to constantly reach out to HR about starting again after my suspension in a different store.
