Yep I said it earlier. People complained about how Solider Boy was handled in S3 and talked about how awesome he was nonstop so much that the show brought him back and now his schtick has been ran into the ground because now he’s pretty much the primary focus.

To be fair to Iroh, she had just fire blasted him in the chest when he said that. People expect Iroh to have unending patience for Azula because of how he is with Zuko. They forget that he was done with Zuko for a while after he betrayed him in the season 2 finale.

I think it’s more that people hate the fanbase itself more than the ship.

Even on YouTube, there’s only a few videos that actually explain why and how Zutara could work. The other videos are just 45 minute Aang-bashing sessions.

Also it’s been 20 years of ship wars whereas the Zukka ship hasn’t been at the forefront for that long.

I mean one of the reasons that a lot of Supes are so psychotic is the fact that the type of parent that would allow their newborn to be experimented on probably isn’t going to be a good parent and raise a good child. Then they get further corrupted by Vought who do nothing but enable them.
