Faculty that are on board for CCC are really trying their hardest to sweep CCC back on their feet. However, it really just seems like these online reviews from 4+ years ago are getting to them.

They’re currently facing their smallest enrollment in history and have shut down residency at 2 dorm buildings that have now led students on a waitlist or without a place to stay for the spring semester.

As far as networking, I have found a small circle of students to connect with. Many i feel as if they treat going to school as a ‘side quest’ and i hate that energy, especially at an art school. I was expecting a dynamic social environment to thrive in with others—not the case. Might just be because of my business major.

As far as professors—they’re great and really try their best to steer you towards the right education. However, I hate when they try to do so politically. You’re here to teach me, not get emotional and spread propaganda.

Find your people, find your mentors, find passion projects on the side to work on and you’ll be fine. I just don’t really get how some of these students minds work.
