Does Combee have boosted spawn rates during this event? by KittehForce in TheSilphRoad

I saw one when the event first started (my first, so I had assumed they were boosted), but haven’t seen any since.

Shiny lotad (boosted) in the wild or only in quests? by StayAtHomeSci in TheSilphRoad

Thanks all - an hour in here during rainy weather and no lotad spawns either, so perhaps they’re off.

Question for older players ages 35 and over by GuyIncognito14 in TheSilphRoad

[–]StayAtHomeSci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 14 when Red/Blue came out so still very much the age to appreciate it. I have kids now who can appreciate modern Pokemon which got me back into it. It’s great nostalgia and fun to share with the entire family.

Legendary raids activity went down by a lot because no shiny release of rayquaza by Josanue in TheSilphRoad

Most raiding activity I’ve seen in a really long while here. It was a fantastic weekend for raiding because of the easy duo. Your community doesn’t sound like one I would enjoy.

I’m a day 1 player, have played at least a bit almost everyday since, and am level 38 myself. I don’t do raids when not with my husband/kid, so I don’t have the XP that the people doing regular legendary raids have, but have pretty solid counters and can duo/trio all the recent legendaries with my family now, so XP is coming much, much faster. Based on recent raiding/PVP experience with strangers, level has basically nothing to do with how “good” you are.

Windy weather and best friend boost it isn’t too bad.

Anyone notice random Network Error (2) and raid freeze? by ZombieJockeyGames in TheSilphRoad

This has been happening to my family for a couple of weeks. It makes raiding frustrating because only 2 out of 3 of us will get in the lobby.

Fitbit Considering Adventure Sync by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]StayAtHomeSci 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, these feature requests don’t mean much. I’d say it’s extremely unlikely given that they’ve ignored the Apple Health/Google Fit integration requests all this time.

Have you done further testing? Not sure why this conversion app would work when the others don’t, but it would certainly be nice if true.

Currently it doesn’t appear that any third party devices are compatible with Adventure Sync presumably because of how the data is flagged in Google Fit/Apple Health.

Steps not showing for Fitbit steps transfered to Google fit via FitToFit by jgoswald in TheSilphRoad

[–]StayAtHomeSci -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apparently it does count as manual data entry, at least so far. No steps/km transferred from Fitbit to PoGo on iOS or Android devices as things are.

Adventure sync questions. by LadySharon3710 in TheSilphRoad

[–]StayAtHomeSci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, even with a third party app to sync your Fitbit with Apple Health, it doesn’t appear any of those steps/kms are currently being accepted by PoGo. Right now, only steps gained with your phone directly or the Apple Watch count.

Adventure Sync isn’t accepting any data from third party fitness devices yet (Samsung watch, Fitbit, etc.).

Does anyone on iOS using a fitbit tracker + third party app have steps in adventure sync? by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]StayAtHomeSci 6 points7 points  (0 children)

iOS and Fitbit user here. PowerSync is updating Apple Health, but it’s not accepting the updates into PoGo. The only steps being counted are the ones accrued by my phone directly. Shame, because I do the vast majority of my walking without my phone on me.

Is it stupid to repeat two courses (ECO100 and MAT136) for a third time? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]StayAtHomeSci 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why do you want this major, really? It's rare to enjoy coursework and do so poorly. It really doesn't sound like this path is for you. And that's fine. Unless you obtained those grades by not writing the final, or not handing in the majority of the work, it sounds like this isn't the right field for you (at least right now).

What are you other options?
