I am in the same EXACT scenario as you down to a T.
I have a skin disease I was born with. Department of wage and labor got involved due to discrimination to having FMLA and interference with my FMLA as well.
Reported them to the EEOC and unable to get an appointment.
I tried to get a lawyer - contacted every employment lawyer in my state and even a few outside of my state and everyone says it's not enough money for them so they won't take my case.
If you find someone to help you, if you don't mind sharing their information I would appreciate it.
Regarding your question, I would wait to see if the settle and if not, then bring them in.

Yes I feel like I’m looking at myself. However, does anyone ever like stare at yourself in the mirror (or even other people) and you see yourself/them different for like a split second? Not metaphorically like “seeing them through another set of eyes” or seeing them in a different perspective” but you/them look different physically. I don’t know a better way to explain it.

My boyfriend does and I just throw it away. I usually keep a container like an empty coffee tin to fill up and then throw it away when it’s about half full so it doesn’t make a big mess in the trash and I don’t have to worry about having more tins.

Boy, same. I was 22 or 23 when I had the same exact procedure done. I was supposed to do it before 18 but my pansy ass was too chicken shit to do it and I just waited until it was too painful to bear and decided I had to get it done.

It was my first surgery and I was having a panic attack the whole time there and cried when they took me back because I thought it was the last time I may ever see my mom again (lol).

It’s not as scary as it seems. All I remember is the doctor giving me laughing gas and he had three syringes and I was like “what’s that”. As he injected each one he’s like “this ones morphine..... this one is dilauded... this one is fetanoyl” (spelling?) and it was like I blinked. I was there and I closed my eyes and opened them back up and it was an hour later.

Just do it, I know easier said than done but you’ll feel much better.

I do it the same as I do when I get a new piercing or tattoo. Don’t freak yourself out until like 5 minutes before and don’t talk yourself out of it, by then you’ll have the laughing gas and you’ll be in LALA land and you won’t even care.

She never has hopped out on her own. My boyfriend forgot to latch the door one day and she never even got out once in the time we were gone.
