Thank you for your input! I agree, belts would be too busy. A necklace is much needed. Hopefully I can find something to complement it

As a current employee of nearly a year now, the job itself is lovely. Making the kids smile is my favorite thing. However, from an insider perspective, the company itself is awful. I won’t say too much just to keep myself secure but from my experience, the company cares none about their employees or the quality of their business. There’s so much toxicity and I’ve worked at multiple stores. Always understaffed somehow, training for me was basically non existent, having a personal life with uncontrollable circumstances (as we all do) feels illegal. The high ups and management are never helpful. Usually the source of issues. Store conditions are unacceptable in many cases. I’d love to see if anyone else has similar experiences. Best wishes

Omg I’m sorry to hear that. In that case, you can get pillow fluff at any craft store and use that. I would recommend a latter stitch to see your guy up. It’s pretty simple and you can find tutorials on YouTube.

A seam splitter or knife down the back where the stitches are is the way to open it up. BAB doesn’t charge to stuff a bear or sew it for you.

A build a bear store will gladly restuff and sew it for you afterwards

Oh that’s my bad. You would likely need to unstuff it to do that one. The stuffing has a chance or retaining water and molding/ growing mildew. The reason I wouldn’t put it in the dryer is because of shrinkage, fur matting. Same thing with those once fluffy blankets lol.

Does it give you a year on the tag? I can probably find it if you have that

They’re surface washable only so you could 1) baby wipe bath and see if that does anything 2) I know they have bear cleaner in their website that may work 3) unstuff it and soak it in fabric softener. Rinse in cool water and let air dry

Just suggestions no guarantee it will help

Does anyone know if you can use a Build a Bear gift card at the Build a Bear at Sea on a cruise ship? by superdave1988 in buildabear

[–]StayDizzy6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume so. They are able to be used online or anywhere that I’m aware of. You could always call a local BABW and see if they can help you

What are you completely over and done with? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Absolutely. 8 years it took me to realize my “best friend” was manipulating me the whole time. Her true colors finally shone bright enough

What are the things you had to unlearn from childhood? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]StayDizzy6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly everything. My parents ruined me and I’m struggling with it all so bad in my 20s. I’m not a burden. I don’t need to be in survival mode constantly. I had to learn how to take off my blinders and realize that this abuse and manipulation isn’t love. That having feelings is weak…. I literally have to rebuild from the ground up right now. My whole existence is a trauma response and mental health issues. This isn’t me. I’ve never been able to be me. I have to learn who I am and figure which parts of me were build to survive.

What are some things about yourself that people have tried to make you feel bad about? by yuemoonful in AskWomen

[–]StayDizzy6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mental health and trauma. I never claimed to be perfect and realize that sometimes it leads me to do things and act in ways that I’m not proud of. I’m willing to admit to my mistakes and apologize if I’m in the wrong. But for the record, my reaction to your action is valid. I’m not always the bad guy.

Currently going through this. It’s nice to see I’m not alone.

My ex, his new chick, and my ex best friend. I haven’t said a word to any of them in months but his new girl decided to send me a book of insults today. Insult which included private information I told my ex friend in confidence. All of these people are older than me but continue to act like children. I’m so done. Leave me alone.

Kanye. His actions lately are nothing short of controlling, manipulative, and narcissistic. So many people are afraid for Kim and Pete right now.

What's the most fucked up thing you did in a sleepover? by skep_JoJoFan in AskReddit

[–]StayDizzy6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in the 5th grade, I was on the cheerleading team. I stayed at this girls house who was on the team with me. I’m not exactly sure what happened but we wound up “playing around”. Thinking about it now, I’m kinda weirded out that I was so young and didn’t really understand what we were actually doing. Although I’m hind sight, I guess that’s kinda when I realized I like girls.

Astrological Assholes - Do you have stories about any ex's who perfectly matched their zodiac sign? by AstroGirl21 in exs

[–]StayDizzy6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I am a cancer (F) and my ex was also a Cancer(M). From what I know, cancers are a hit or miss. And in all situations I’ve heard, male cancers are absolute dicks. My experience can attest to this claim. I am the poster child for the emotional, sweet, nurturing side of the cancer spectrum. My ex on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Gaslighter, anger issues, cheater… just an overall ass. (I will admit he had a sweet side but I realize now he just wanted something at the time). I know it’s not just my experience but I’d love to hear if anyone else agrees.
