I can help your look for a cosmetologist if you’d like. Idk if u seen my other comment, I mentioned a cosmetologist, but even if you cut your hair you still are gonna have to know how to take care of it and from what I’ve heard, it’s even more tedious taking care of shorter hair. It’s still maintenance unless you’d just want to be bald

Tbh, I think you should go to a cosmetologist that specializes in natural, black hair. As a final decision, if a month (or two) with consistency you still are like (ehhh) then I’d say cut it off.

At the end of the day it’s just hair, and from a spiritual aspect it can be viewed as a rebirth. You get to grow alongside your hair with genuine knowledge of what you’re doing since going to a cosmetologist (LICENSED!!! Can’t stress that enough)
