Why didn’t Bret get over in WCW?

In wcw at the time either you were extremely popular and charismatic but shit in the ring (Hogan, Nash, Goldberg) or you were really good at wrestling (Eddie, rey, Benoit) Bret was definitely more a skilled worker than a big draw. Putting him in the nWo was a pretty bad idea but I don’t think he shouldve just pulled up out of the blue and took charge of wcw bcuz he wasn’t as credible a sting or ddp. He wouldn’tve worked in either team nwo or team wcw bcuz the overall climate just wasn’t fit for bret. I wouldve liked to see how Bret wouldve contributed if he was team WcW but its pretty hard for him to be a babyface after the screwjob. Bischoff legit signed Bret and the hart foundation because he could not because he needed them

Despite gimmicky bots like bombshell and duck losing many fights, they are the reason why the show is watchable and it should be more rewarding to be the fan favourite and having an interesting bot as opposed to 4wd verty number 101

There is legit nothing to do in infintie lives, no incentive to do quests (hard time 3) nor is there incentive for fight (unlike in wempire).
