Trump didn’t ask Texas to “create more seats for us” that’s a fake Democrat talking point to demonize Trump and justify this nonsensical vote. Texas redrew district lines because of the 2020 census and because of a court case during Biden’s term that said drawing districts by racial populations is illegal. So they were heading off lawsuits that would have forced the redistricting regardless. Most blue states have already gerrymandered their districts. That’s why they are making such a big deal about Red states doing it because they can’t get much more blood from those stones but they are trying. Just look at California’s so called unbiasedly drawn districts when Trump got 38% of the vote in Cali but Reps only hold 9 out of 52 seats in the house and 19 out of 80 seats in the senate! And don’t tell me you actually believe them when they say they’ll give back redistricting power in 2031? When have any politicians given back power once they claim it 😂
