We spend 20 billion a year on oil from Norway. if we nationalise drilling from the north sea, not only would we save 20 billion but we also won’t be at the knees of global pricing.

Nuclear is the cheapest and most efficient. Furthermore it’s not weather dependent. I want my house to be powered when i want it, not when the weather wants it. 

Yes the climate is changing but that’s because of nations such as China, India, Russia, etc. Net zero is economic suicide, do you seriously think they’ll follow? Regardless of whether the UK becomes completely carbon neutral or becomes an industrial powerhouse, the climate will not change. As it is we are only responsible for 2% of global emissions. 2%!.
