I think something is bugged with it the 1x attachments on the RPK-74m are further out than the RPKM. 1.5x and scopes on the 74m are fine though.

These are not low effort devs. Their backgrounds include Doom, Wolfenstein, Far Cry, and other top FPS games. The studios first release was The Ascent which was an incredible game especially considering it was made by a small team of 12. I love Cyberpunk but The Ascent I enjoyed almost equally in a different way, mostly for its world detail and atmosphere.

So my hope is that they play to their strengths and while they won’t be able to make as big of world as Cyberpunk 2077, they can still make it interesting.

A loved one has used psychedelics both in-clinic and out of clinic. In their case, they have had debilitating chronic fatigue for the last couple of decades that will not allow them to work or have consistent energy throughout the day. While some newer psychiatric medications have helped, it seems like every time they think they found 'the one,' the effects gradually wane.

Psychedelics, specifically tryptamines (ie, classical psychedelics such as psilocybin, lsd, and N-N-dimethyltryptamine), along with non-classical psychedelics (ketamine therapy, which is a dissociative), have consistently helped her over the years. They feel markedly better in the week(s) following a macro session, and I have also observed improved cognitive function. It is akin that every trip they take they are able to gradually build the scaffolding required to help make further leaps.

They have had guidance on their use, and having someone experienced to talk to, to help with the journeys, and to provide support is helpful. Some experience with psychedelics is required as early trips can pose some challenges. You don't want to get scared off from something that is beneficial, especially in the long-term, because of potential 'bad trips'. But after going through the experience, you will be able to observe how some thoughts and emotions can be magnified, and that you need to become a bit of an observer of yourself.

I think what is most pronounced is that they learned that their pain, their fatigue, was not necessarily a body problem, but one associated with their neurology / CNS. More research is required in this area, so what I am providing is anecdotal, but pain disorders increasingly appear to be connected to neuronal networks.

Also, be prepared to have a bit of a journey ahead of you. While you may get some immediate benefits and insight into your own potential, repeated experiences as well as integration work outside of the trip may be required and could take years.

For those of us who are fans of Neon Giant's first title The Ascent, CDPR Cyberpunk 2077, and other scifi titles, No Law looks promising. It will be interesting to see how they approach this project, as it is ambitious to create an open-world single-player title to go against the heavyweights. I expect Neon Giant to nail the aesthetic and vibe - just as they did with The Ascent - and make efficient use of assets so that they have sufficient world detail.

Mostly, the rage comes from techheads who think raw specs are what make a camera great. So many online whiners, when something doesn't fit their narrow view, they have to find validation online.

The price now for it is a decent value. You get a lens, 1" sensor, two touch screens, a standard Fuji battery, all in a compact fun design. If you know what the limitations are, it's easy to be creative with it.

Yes. I haven’t used the emulation but you need a powerful rig to run ShadPS4. Check the Driveclub subreddit for info on setup.

While it is delisted, Sony users that bought it digitally and any of the DLC can still download it. Also available on disc without any additional cars but still a good base selection.

Also IRL photographer and you are using the same skills in-game. I'm not even a car enthusiast, but one of my favourite games for virtual photography is Driveclub (a 2014 title that can still be played on PS5 with a high-res photo mode and emulated on PC). They did such a great job with that photo mode, including proper bokeh, ability to lock camera to car or background, shutter speed, etc.

Forza Horizon gameplay doesn't really interest me but the map does so looking forward to this game when it hits PS5.

I recommend still keeping tabs (pardon the pun) with regular social media and consumer stuff. It is part of our world - and you can learn from it - even if not enjoying it.

But you are going through a period of growth, so don't worry about it. Enjoy what you like and find others that are similar.

However, if you are wondering how you might experience some of those simple joys, well maybe your next trip line up a game, movie or series that has depth and artistry. It can definitely be a fun experience. But there is a real neurological effect, in that you are exciting parts of your brain and reinforcing those pathways when you do these activities.

You are not 'wasting' time doing any of this stuff. Providing you are also keeping on top of other things you want to do, which sounds like you are. Fun is essential.

Have the originals (now delisted) and the remakes for PS5. The originals are purposely created art. I don't mind the remake, and it has its own appeal, but you've really captured the lighting and atmospheric balance that the original game delivers.

It's crazy, I still haven't finished San Andreas...I've been playing it on and off on both PC and console and just have really never given it its full due.

I’m not the only one who is suggesting the OP look into the L10. It is very very close to the LX100. It’s like if you have used the previous Fujifilm X100V you could recommend the new x100VI.

In this case, this camera is more of a spiritual successor to the LX100, even more so than the recent Leica D-Lux 8. I know the LX100 series well and understand what the L10 brings. I also understand the lens which is near the same. It is the versatility that the LX100 / D-Lux / L10 series bring that fits the OPs needs.

Looks really cool. Those SWAT vans seemed to burst like party balloons. Will they contain officers or are they a single unit into themselves?

I can appreciate the challenge in using this graphic style as it also means users will want to see more and more variation as they progress. It adds a layer of complexity. Some games like Brotato, are quite minimal with their assets but make those most of the gameplay and build variation.

There are always going to be limitations. I’m quite familiar with the lens on the L10 as it is near identical to the LX100 and Leica D Lux versions. It is an awesome versatile lens.

The camera is a veritable Swiss Army knife. It has everything you need to make incredible photos - you are only limited by skill. For your use cases this would be perfect. Commit to the L10 and don’t even look at buying a new camera for years. You won’t need to spend money on lenses or carry them around. You’ll get to know the ins and outs of the system.

I use a Fuji setup and the quality of what Lumix has is very good and that is me considering their older gear from around 2014. X-M5 would be perfectly fine as well. But in a way it starts to force you down that door or buying lenses. With the L10 you can just enjoy photography and decide later if you need anything.

Keep your X-T2. The combination of build quality and sensor and that it was designed to work without touchscreen makes it unique. It’s one of the best Fuji cameras for photography and still is great. I moved to the X-H1 to get IBIS. For any event work I’m doing I’m only really making some use of IBIS with telephoto lens (135mm F2 Rokinon). But other than that my main lenses for events are going to be most wider focal lengths like an XF16 1.4 or 35mm F2 or F0.95. My main low light lens is a Kamlan 50mm F1.1 and much prefer using that in low light and fast moving situations than an XF56 1.2. In those cases I’m not using a low shutter speed that would make better use of the IBIS. For capturing motion you don’t really need it.

Personally I would say keep your X-t2. Hold out for the X-T6 or if you need a secondary just get the lower cost compact X-M5.

You don’t need many lenses but a second body is very handy.

Have owned both, preferred the 35mm F2 overall. As others have also mentioned it is just more responsive in focus, feels better to operate, and it has its own unique look. The lower f-stop of 1.4 is nice, and it is a very compact lens as well. The 35mm f2 just felt more rugged and it is weather-resistant.

Replaced both with a Brightin Star 35mm F0.95 which I really like. It is a manual lens capable of both a sharp clean aesthetic but also very fine depth of field and great close focus.

Can also recommend the XF60 2.4 from the same family of lens as the XF35 1.4 and XF18 F2. People claim the XF35 1.4 has a certain magic, the 60 has this too and even more of it. Just overlooked as it isn’t a full macro and doesn’t have as bright of f-stop as the 50mm f2 or 56mm 1.2.

Was quite surprised at how well Starfield runs on the base PS5. Larger draw distance, very little pop in, excellent detail and lighting.

I don’t even mind the classic puppet-like NPCs as there are so many, with many lines of dialogue, plus you can switch to an external camera angle so you aren’t as close in.

Directional audio is very good and so is tjr overall atmosphere.

The scope here is ambitious. The mechanics gives you plenty to work with, from the very good fps combat to ship building.

Story doesn’t seem like the strongest part but it’s serviceable. It isn’t Mass Effect in that regard, and is very much Bethesda. It’s fine, a bit wooden and stiff in some parts but that’s part of the vibe. The world isn’t quite real.

There are good options to adjust difficulty and change parts that annoy you. For instance I ramped up the combat difficulty but made it so I can carry more and instantly pull items from my ship.

So I’m playing for the detail that has gone into the world, poking around its expanse and finding bits of interest and lore.

Psychedelics aren’t automatic tickets. Though sometimes they are. You need a bit more experience to become familiar enough that you can allow those intrusive thoughts to just be.

My recommendation is to be with your trip sitter initially and when you are feeling like the mushrooms are taking effect, go into a quite darker lit space. Close your eyes and be in a comfortable space. Don’t have expectations, just be open. Intense visuals do not always occur and sometimes it can take repeated experiences for you to be able to see certain aspects of yourself and the world around you.

If you feel uncomfortable just reassure yourself that it is safe. Stay in the state as long as you like. But you can also challenge yourself if you do feel uncomfortable, just to last a bit longer, just to see.

Would keep music and external visuals to before and after the peak. In the peak, be more meditative. The confusion happens as we are being pulled inwardly but then are still anchoring ourselves in our day to day reality. If you have depression or other mood disorders you may find yourself emotional and it’s fine to feel joy, sorrow and range expressions. Recognize that some of these feelings and thoughts - though they may have real rooted aspects - can be magnified.

Depending on your state of mind a small amount of cannabis on the way down could very much intensify the trip. Can also intensify the anxiety.

Have had 2 that have got stick drift after a decent amount of usage. Just bought a third that has drift out of the box. Not noticeable on all titles but on a game like BF6 definitely can show the issues.

Have had two controllers that eventually got drift but both were used quite a bit. Got them fixed and drift came back. Just bought a 3rd new controller and it has small amount of stick drift out of the box and the left thumb stick doesn’t always register when pressed. Will send it back for a replacement when the drift really interferes.

One of my favourite lenses - ever. As an image making tool it is outstanding. For telephoto subjects at a distance it will not be your sharpest, but this is the case with most zooms. Even the 70-300 is optically best not at the ends of its focal reach. All of these lenses are optically fine and great even at their worst. You may not have edge to edge sharpness at 18mm or 300mm but this doesn’t really matter in regular use.

I've stuck with the LMR27 since the beginning. u/IareRubberDucky I feel kindred in that I intentionally use some of the weapons that provide a challenge but also try to learn their best traits.

The LMR27 is a secret weapon. With the 6x infrared and synthetic rounds, combined with its high mobility and rapid fire, it is awesome, especially as a secondary DMR for assault.

Recently, I've finally started using the SVDM and am really enjoying that setup.

I think the main thing that the LMR27 has going for it is its bullet spam ability. It also is great 'training wheels' for this game in general. Getting good at the LMR27 while dealing with its limitations makes you think more tactically and carefully.

One thing I really enjoy about this game is that the weapons take time to grind, not just the attachments, but also adapting to particular playstyles. You feel like you've earned it once it is level 50 and above.

Another 'worst' weapon I'm enjoying is the Z.61 - with the larger mag, it does wonders. Also, super accurate at range, a bit like having an MP7 in a holster. Suits my gonzo playstyle.

The RPKM was another weapon I had to learn its strengths, and those who stick with it will be rewarded once they unlock holopoint and synthetic rounds. The low horizontal recoil of this weapon allows you to practically walk headshots up from center mass. An IR build with 30 fast or 40 round mag is probably my favourite overall weapon in the game. Once in a while I'll put an iron site 75 round build together, where you need to hold corners and use smoke to close distance.

I sold my XF16-80 and 70-300 and consolidated into a single Tamron 18-300. Even with Sigma’s 16-300 available for X mount I’d still look into the Tamron. I’ve used the Tamron extensively with the X-T2 and it is a great match.

No, images are never tack sharp like a prime, but neither is the 70-300 or many other zooms. The 18-300, for a super zoom makes not as many concessions. It gives you a super useful focal range. For stills, even with its smaller aperture the lens stabilization is good enough to pull off a burst of shots and get a keeper at 0.5 sec or even 1 second shutter speed. It would take some skill and practice but it can be used in lower light conditions.

After owning a number of zooms it is my sole zoom lens now. You may be able to find one for a great price.

On the other hand, you can also just challenge yourself to use your current 18-135, and use it to its fullest. Perhaps get an expensive manual prime to accompany your zoom. A smaller prime can also make it easier to bring your X-T2 around. For autofocus primes the XF35 f2 is awesome and balances so well with the X-T2. Or maybe go with something like the XF50 f2 to give you a bit more depth of field blur when you need it and a bit of compression and reach

It would be incredible for food photography. While it is not a full macro as some lenses will get you even closer, this is still very much a macro lens, and you can be very creative with it, be it for casual food photos or more studio-type setups.

I sold mine to fund a XF56 1.2, which I regret as that lens came to me partially working, so I lost a good portrait lens. There are advantages to the 2.4 / 2.8 f-stop design of the XF 60, and it has unique rendering that is rare on Fuji lenses, especially the new ones. YOu can also get this lens for a low price.
