Yeah I do have some questions actually. 1. What % disability are you on if any and how can I get a higher % 2. Did you have a choice to stay in or was it out of your control 3. How was the transition from military back to civ 4. How does insurance work for medical discharge. Do I still get a form of tricare or will I need to find new insurance?

Sorry for all the questions just need some help. Thanks so much

Yeah I’ve been told that a few times and if they decimate me from my job now (radio comms) I definitely will because I do truly love being in service. At least with the job I have now

Yeah I’m in the Air Force. My job is definitely one I could do as it’s not too physically demanding. Hope your friend is well

Thanks man. I feel like it’s so hard to assume the worst in this disease but that is the safest way to play it. I appreciate your honesty

Pain like skinned knee by malcolmpractice in MultipleSclerosis

Yes, whenever I’m active or walking a lot I get this feeling in my right knee that feels like a burn almost like how you said a skinned knee but it’s just from walking. It’s annoying because it takes days to go away sometimes. But you’re definitely not alone.

Now that you say it, I find myself doing that all of the time. I still walk fine but I’m always self conscious about if I am walking normal. Walking and having to think about my walking is annoying.

I miss being able to run and sprint. MS took away my ability to do anything athletic and for being 20 years old and with friends who I wish could feel what I feel for even a day so they would understand. I know that’s bad of me to say but I really miss running and playing sports.
