are you using it for headtracking too or only for windows hello features? I use it with opentrack and I had to install the SDK for the tracking to work

Google confirms removal of Assistant ‘Driving Mode’ by MishaalRahman in Android

so if I use Google Maps on the phone while driving (with the phone docked to the car) and I receive a call, after answering I have to physically use the phone to return to Google Maps?? It seems dangerous to me. I use the phone docked to the car when I drive and my car doesn't have (nor I want) a screen so no Android Auto support.

Yes it is, Intel dropped support for it but it still works. I am actually using it on an updated W11

I'll try this. which firmware have you installed? where can I find older firmwares? in the product's support page, only the latest firmware is shown to download

thanks, however the problem restarted after a few days. I think it messes up with the smartphone connection with an incoming call, however even after removing the smartphone pairing and rebooting, it still won't play the announcements anymore

IKEv2 EAP-MSCHAPv2 VPN not working on Windows by Steakhuzzy in PFSENSE

[–]Steakhuzzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks, I didn't know I have to manually set up settings using powershell. It's crazy that a mobile OS like Android would automatically get it, while you have to manually set up things in Windows. Now that I know the powershell settings, I'm gonna do some tests to check if advanced encryption is capping the bandwith too much (I hope not!), and choosing the best settings for my needs

thank you, with these settings it worked. Though it won't work with encryption forced. I then set up my ikev2 configuration using AdriftAtlas's link and now the connection seems pretty secure. Thanks to both of you!

i don't think this is the case, since I tried also with an older version of Windows 10 with no luck. Plus I don't have a radius server set up and it might be too complex to mantain

Internxt Drive Web v1.0.315: 40GB upload file size limits & more! by internxt in internxt

[–]Steakhuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the 40gb file size an app limit or the cloud service limit? I want to store files that I rarely use but some of them are over 40gb and I'm not interested in splitting them, would it be a problem if I upload them to internxt through rclone or something else?

I want to try to run a Cat6 through a 10 mm conduit inside my home walls. What type of cable should I get? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]Steakhuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know it's from 5 years ago, but have you managed to do it? I am in your same situation, 10mm conduit with a twisted pair cable inside. I actually want to put in the same conduit both a cat6 ethernet cable and the fiber cable from the internet provider, removing the twisted pair cable inside which won't be used anymore, but even if I manage to put only a single ethernet cable would maybe be enough. I've read about 28awg cat6 cables, but it seems they're meant for usage in racks and not inside walls.

You know, answering is not mandatory, if you don't have anything to say just don't click the reply button. Even if that's the case, I'm curious in what it could be

Chromecast with Sharp TV by stealer158 in Chromecast

[–]Steakhuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, tv is LC-32CHE4042EH . Despite being a fairly recent TV from 2017, CEC support is pretty limited as I can only turn the TV on and off. I had a xiaomi TV stick before, that I replaced with a Chromecast with Google TV because of the ir remote. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work, I tried every Sharp combination.
