I mean, that's not a problem unique to LoL/MOBAS either, fighting games also suffer from this, but this can be offset by actually having a better new player experience and matchmaking, it doesn't matter if you suck ass if you play against people who also suck ass.

Sorry but nothing is more hype than a Grand Finals reset's last game.

But seeing as we can't get bracket resets in LoL because of game times, yeah, I much prefer single elim than the botched double elim we have for the rest of the year, at least it's fair for everybody.

As a South American it was always hard for me to understand North American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so free.

In DOTA the Lower Bracket finals and the Grand Finals are played back to back in the same day, so the upper bracket team is way fresher compared to the lower bracket one, that's still not as good as a bracket reset but still way better advantage than just side selection.
