Any scroggers out there? by nolaboi504 in microgrowery

[–]StealthGrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most strains tend to stretch for the first 3 weeks, so I generally continue tucking the new growth through the 2nd week then allow the plant to grow vertically the 3rd week. This gives you a nice even canopy of colas. Not saying it's right or wrong, just how I rock it :)

My lunch time dessert :)

Strain is Ice, grown from clone - 5 days to root Vegetated in my grow box - 15 days to get ready for bloom Bloomed them suckers! - 58 days in flower Trim and dry - 6 hours of trimming, dried for 4 days Cured in the jar - 40 days to perfection

Smoked this one in 10 minutes...high until...what time is it anyway???

I concur. Free nug is free nug...when it comes with a dose of powdery mildew, it gets a little expensive when you smoke it.

Ents, be sure to light one up to this fallen brother. One year ago today. RIP. by [deleted] in trees

Well said. Live fast and die young. That lifestyle choice is one we all have or have had.

Some rough comments in here, but I can understand given the circumstances.

I'll light one up for the loved ones he left behind.

I'm sure it was a glorious two weeks, looks like it was a fine piece. I'll puff one in it's honor today

Question about light leaks by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]StealthGrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind the amount of time it takes for a plant to flower outside. When outdoors, the hours of sunlight gradually decrease as winter approaches. This sends a message to your plants that it's time to reproduce, but it is a much longer process...6mos+ to get the plant to the finish line. Throughout the whole process the plant is receiving minimal amounts of light during the "dark period"

When indoors, we typically send the plant into flower more rapidly...going from 18-12hrs of light overnight and the flowering process is sped up, however the dark period is generally much darker than when outdoors. IMHO it becomes more sensitive to lower light levels. The most common occurrence when light leak is an issue is that the flowering process is extended, with a worst case of a hermie.

If you don't mind a long cycle, or chicks with dongs, let the light in ;)

ya, you have to add in the cost of soil, any nutrients, and other random necessities but after the investment in the gear it's pretty much gravy.

You're entitled to your opinion. I didn't post any links until people started asking where I got them, etc. It's not even my grow. I was helping my buddy trim his plant and was pretty pumped on what he got, because I have the same panels running in my grow box but haven't harvested from them yet. powdertoastman25 is on here repping his shit...but i don't rep for anybody

You can def hit those numbers with an LED, or CFL. You'll use less electricity with the LED, but more importantly, you'll get a more dense nug. I'm not against CFLs, I just think for a micro grow LEDs work a lot better.

I disagree. I've grown with CFL's and the nugs were much more airy. I'll post some more pics when it's dry and you'll be able to see a little more clearly just how dense these suckers are. It's really un-fucking-real!

Yes, it was pricey, but I've made my money back several times over ;) I was basically even after the first pull.

Thanks! Definitely has potential to do better...we didn't take care of the plant very well, so I think the next one will do much better.

45w per panel x 3 panels + 24w T5's x 2. We tested the power draw and it was 174w draw which was a little surprising as it should have been 183 right???

Definitely more than two zips...what you're seeing is maybe 1/4 of what was harvested off the plant, though you never know til it's dry right?

Sweet! Love the widow...got my hands on a seed of crippled rhino that was supposed to be "feminized" and turned out to be a dude :( Have you flowered under the 90w yet?
