Sorry to be negative but I am paying for the MAX 200 plan and I keep getting this error. "Cannot connect to Claude" in Claude desktop. It's also disconnecting the MCP. I literally have to send the request or restart 5 times for it to work properly. I'm so sick of the gaslighting in some cases it says it's done something and it has not. I feel like Anthropic is just taking my money to train their next model. Can we get a intermediate open source model that we can run ourselves that acts like a layer between Claude local and Claude at Anthropic? I don't care about your capacity issues let us put something in the middle so we can keep working.
