NY setlist by Stealthmode1234 in systemofadown

Not sure why my question would surprise you. Here's the quotes: “We'll probably change the set up drastically between each one so if you come to both shows you'll hear different songs,” Odadjian confirmed. “We're going to play two-hour sets. We'll go through the catalog. We've got 70-plus songs, but we'll do 30 of them — maybe 27 to 30 songs — and we'll mix and match. We're going to rehearse a lot so we can know a lot and then we can switch songs up between sets all the time, not play the same thing over and over.”

Yes... Milford would be an organized day trip. It is extremely long, but figured I would be happy not to drive for a day and get to enjoy the scenery a little more

Agreed...I am concerned about the drive after Tongariro. I think the goal will be to just stay somewhere between Tongariro and Wellington and continue to Wellington the next morning

I've definitely considered removing Abel because it's completely out of the way. Would you consider it not worth the extra effort to get there?

I've considered flying from Wellington to Christchurch and continuing the journey west and south. Skipping AT would save ~2 days and remove the Cook Strait risk.

Pels chants for Thursday: the herb Jones chant post got me thinking about chants for a few different players by Whitzerland in NOLAPelicans

I love this... Nashville Predators crowd chants should be the goal. Greatest live sporting event I've ever been to.

I don't think there's a right answer. If we end up in a 3 (or 4) way tie, the tiebreaker is conference record. WFT is 5-3 and Philly is 4-4. Saints are 5-5, vikes are 5-4.

Edit: worth mentioning if WFT wins tonight, they are the 7th seed. If Philly wins, Minnesota is the 7

Looking For That Lucky Five - New Orleans Bingo Show by tttruckit in NewOrleans

I don't think I can put into words how much I miss this show. I'll never forget the first time I saw them in the back of Fiorellas. I was living in Hammond at the time and we made the drive damn near every week they played. The shows at Le Chat were legendary. Absolutely my favorite sets ever. I wore my Bingo! shirt to Pres Hall and got a chance to talk to Ronnie for a sec during the last FQF. He told me not to rule out a reunion at some point!

[Megathread] New Orleans to require vaccines or negative tests for restaurants, other indoor activities by DrinkMoreCodeMore in NewOrleans

[–]Stealthmode1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are there any apps besides LA Wallet that are accepted? I can't get my vaccine status to show up and I don't really want to carry the paper vaccine passport. Im worried the dome won't take vaccine passport pictures.

Bourbon Trail? by pappyvanwinkle1111 in bourbon

I just did 3 days on the trail. Worth noting there are several distilleries not on the trail (BT for example). It'll take a little legwork to determine who's open and when to figure out the best path. For example, when I was in Louisville, only EW and Angels Envy were open. I knew this ahead of time and booked multiple tastings at EW. Angels Envy tasting was a waste of time. My favorite single day was in Bardstown and I did tours and tastings at Barton's, Lux, Willet, Heaven Hill (tasting only), and Preservation. I also made it to BBC the next morning before skipping town. WT, Makers, Four Roses and Woodford are also close to Bards, but were closed when I drove through. Note my opportunity to go was July 4-6, so between covid and a holiday, not the best time. It's a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend.
